Id take Deni Avdija everyday. Really good all round player, only 23 years old. At the very least he can develop into a really high end role player and that’s kinda what this team needs.

I would give the assets from a Bruce Brown trade and the 2024 OKC/Clippers pick for Deni. Think he’s a great fit with IQ/RJ/Deni/Scottie/Jakob. And only 23 years old.
I like Deni a lot but would our shitter picks get it done? Id imagine a young 3&D guy with connective passing would be expensive

Deni signed a 4/55m extension so he’s got a poison pill contract (it also declines every year so that’s nice. 15.6m next year but declines to 11.9m at the end of it). Fortunately there isn’t a large delta, his outgoing being 6.2m and incoming being 12.2m. So technically speaking the Raps can trade any of Otto/Thad/Boucher as the filler in a trade – the first 2 being expirings could appeal to Washington.
In terms of draft picks, I’d offer the 2024 OKC pick. Depending on what we get in a Bruce Brown trade, could offer more, but I don’t think we should give more than that.
You could try and make it a 3 teamer with a Bruce Brown trade. Something like:
Raps get: Deni, Shamet (filler)
WAS gets: Fournier, 2024 DAL FRP, 2024 UTA/CLE SRP
NYK gets: Brown
Can shift around that draft capital (maybe Raps include the OKC pick we got, maybe the FRP from NYK changes to a 2025 MIL FRP) if necessary.

I would love Deni. Fits the newly developed timeline, self sufficient Swiss Army knife type of player. I don’t necessarily think building through the draft is the best idea, unless we hit hard in the lottery over the next two years, which is foolish to bank on. Getting Deni to replace GT’s minutes would be great. Though we’d still desperately need a centre.
Deni has a very team friendly contract as well and is relatively young, like a year older than scottie, getting him will cost a FRP at the minimum.
I think Gafford is the right answer from wizards. Raptors have been lacking big men too long. Platoon Jakob and Gafford would a solid addition
