That OG anobi is a New York Nick and with all the weird stuff happening with the Knicks and the lawsuit and everything kind of shocked something like this would happen but here we are and there is a lot to dissect here there is a lot to dissect first off um I’ll talk about

What the Raptors are giving away here is the total here’s what the deal is is OG anobi pre Chua and Malachi Flynn going to the New York Knicks in exchange for Miss aaga native RJ Barrett Emanuel quickley and a 2024 second round pick which belongs to the

Detroit Pistons so it’s basically a very late first wow a lot like I said a lot to dissect here but let’s start with what the Raptors are giving up because I know there’s going to be a lot of New York Nick fans coming on here and kind of get

Wanting to get an idea of what they’re getting I’m not going to sit here and try and be a biased Raptor fan and say oh the Raptors W trade I honestly think they won the trade but I’ll get into why as the video goes along so let’s start

With what the Raptors gave away and we’ll start with the biggest piece OG an anobi goes to the New York Knicks what are the Knicks getting in OG I’ll tell you this he is getting they’re getting one of the best one-on-one defenders in basketball like he is incredible at guarding the opponent’s

Best play player he is really really good he’s a great Corner three-point shooter a great three-point shooter in general right you look at his season totals he’s shooting 37% from three not bad he’s averaging like not a career low but I think he averaged like 18 last

Year he’s only averaging 15 this season albeit that’s because they’re involving Scotty Barnes a lot more in the offense so with that being the case uses for OG kind of drops off a bit but I will so what does ogan do in the offensive end he he’s a great

Defender I’m not going to deny that he’s one of the best perimeter Defenders one of the great on ball defenders in basketball that’s great for the New York Knicks offensively other than a catch and shoot three-point shooter you’re not getting much when OG has to facilitate his own offense there’s not much there

Usually it looks Herky jerky sometimes he ends up on his rear or it’s a turnover and you feel like just screaming at your TV because it looks so janky love OG he’s been a raptor for so long he was a late draft pick that turned into a great player kind of one

Of those stories that happened years ago for the rappers that they haven’t been able to hit on recently fantastic player but on the offensive end you just other than knocking down three-point shots which is obviously very important in this day and age you’re not going to get

Defensive end and he blocks shot he’s a pretty good Defender but in the offensive end if you see him running up the floor with the ball you you’re screaming because it is one of the worst sites of all if it ain’t some offensive board putback or

Something in tight to the paint it looks ugly some of his decisions on offense is are mindboggling about what the hell he’s doing out there it is really bad so as a raptor fan I’m very excited to not watch him anymore because of how painful it is to watch he’s a great

Energy guy don’t get me wrong but you put the ball in his hands you’re biting your nails every second he can knock down a consistent three so he’s not a catch and shoot three-point shooter he’s not going to give you much offensively defensively yeah he’s got some tools there but it’s never been

Really able to solidify he had a great when Scotty Barnes made went went to the all rookie stuff and and prua was there right at the Showcase in the All-Star game that second half of the year he was great but since then and before then nothing really from precious and Malachi

Finn for the love of God he’s a very short guard who is going to get attacked defensively to no end he’s quick he’s he’s Shifty guard but he’s not great there’s a reason in all these years being with the Raptors that he has not been able to crack the lineup

Consistently just cuz he gets attacked offensively he’s in a liability out there on the defense end yeah he’s got Quicks and he can shoot the three a little bit but you’re not getting much in Malachi Flynn I’m just going to be blatantly honest with you those two

Players have been hard to watch in Raptor uniforms now for my outside take of what the Raptors are getting in return it’s a lot of fun first off you’re getting the Canadian boy RJ Barrett now he’s on a massive contract like 2526 million a season till 26 27 so

He got him for turn term but he’s kind of been this player every year right he’s averaging 18 a game he’s shooting 42% 33% from three he’s shooting a career high 83% from the free throw line which is definitely nice to see because this team stinks at free throw

Shooting but what you’re hoping for as a raptor fan at only 23 years old that RJ’s got that room to grow he’s three years younger than OG and anobi he he fits the timeline with Scotty Barnes right cuz Scotty B let me just go to Scotty Barnes real quick on the Raptor

Page here I think I believe what he’s 21 22 Scotty B he’s 22 RJ 23 kind of fits that timeline whereas OG look he’s only 26 but you’ve got RJ locked up whereas OG needs a contracted to the end of the season and that’s another thing to add

To the Knicks thing OG’s a free agent at the end there yes he’s a player option but he’s only making 19 million he’ll ask for more as one of the best perimeter defenders in basketball he’ll get paid somewhere else so Nick’s got a pony up and get him paid or they lose

Him so it’s a rental thing that’s the scary thing as well for the Knicks but you add 23-year-old RJ Barrett to add to that core with him and cak maybe they lock up Pascal cakam I don’t know it’s gonna be interesting to see how it h what plays out moving

Forward but for getting RJ Barrett it’s it it fits the timeline with Scotty Barnes then they add a manual quickly and I am seeing from Nick’s Twitter and Nick’s Instagram they do not like seeing this guy go he’s averaging 15 a game this year he’s shooting almost 40 % from

Three almost 80 almost 88% from the free throw he’s having a really good season is Emanuel quickly uh his career is he having just like a breakout season this year now he averaged just under 50 in a game last year he shot uh 37 from per

From three last season as well he’s he’s only shot below 35% from three once and that was um in 2122 he’s been great ever since again Nicks fans can give me more of an idea of what those two players bring to the Toronto Raptors but I just

Basically dead last um or I guess first in the second round so not a terrible honestly I for the Toronto Raptor standpoint a refresh a reset is very appetizing I like the deal I think the Raptors in overall sense got the better end of the deal cuz I love OG we all

Loved OG in Toronto but am am I okay with seeing him go for this type of package for a rental player yes very much so getting a Canadian boy RJ Barrett back he might frustrate rapper fans I don’t know how Nicks feel about him obviously the big contract is is a big
