Not sure why you reading advanced scouting reports when they be haven’t even finished the NCAA playoffs or at least the combine. If you are so desperate for draft storylines and falling in love with players in January lol

I like this kid tbh. Tall, huge wingspan, good stroke, some attacking moves in his bag and can put it on the floor. Kinda hope we can keep the pick.

It’s January and the Ringer isn’t the gospel. This really doesn’t mean anything at this point in the year. Especially when we have no idea where the Raptors are even going to end up in the standings.
Not to mention that KOCs “shades of” schtick is so bad.

Not the biggest fan of Matas for us, but this draft is just going to be like this. Everyone’s opinions on these guys are just so different. Part of the reason the draft is considered weak

“Stop drafting G-League Ignite players” is my immediate reaction because aside from Scoot, who’s been playing better of late, every Ignite prospect has been a disaster

I swear though. The NBA as a league pushes for these Ignite players to get drafted high. Many have looked very flawed, but teams really covet them. I know, no team is stupid enough to just take a player with a high lotto pick because the league told them to do it. But there must be some level on push from Adam Silver and gang to get them in the conversation.
