It was kind of an interesting question this off-season whether they would maintain their league-best efficiency from the three-point line.
Despite Mann shooting a career-worst 30% from three to start the season and Westbrook shooting a bit worse than that, the Clippers are once again pacing the NBA in 3P%.
Kawhi (44.8%), Powell (44.2%), PG (41.8%), and Harden (40.9%) are shooting better than 40% from three. Mann has improved his shooting significantly, shooting over 50% from three in the month of January. And we have other role players who are taking very good shots and making them, especially Theis (44.1%) and Coffey (39.6%).
Their ball movement is creating opportunities. But they’re also not overly reliant on the three, like the Celtics and Mavericks are. They’re just 22nd in three-point attempts per game and 18th in frequency.
