People need to know Joel embiid has not played in Denver since November 8th 2019 so there was a lot of anticipation there and what happens is literally right before the tip off and I’m telling you that his the guys were in the layup line and I saw nine

Guys out there and I’m like wow I know Marcus Morris is about is starting so it’s it’s going to be 10 and then I’m like well hold up where’s Joel I don’t see Joel all right well I’m about to twe they got 11 and then all of a sudden I’m

Seriously literally they were in the layup line and then all of a sudden you get notification I got uh a text saying you know that uh from a source saying yo Joel ain’t playing right this and that now the Sixers are saying they found out they they they found out 30 minutes

Beforehand but I’m telling you when I when when it got out there it was the teams was on the court layup line now Mitch you know that that didn’t go over well in Denver yeah we saw yeah doing the national anthem a dude yeah Joel mb’s a coward and the crowd started

Cheering doing the national anthem right then it was like they kept chanting where’s Joel and then the thing that you and I talked about was the guy who questioned Joel mb’s character and heart to Nick nurse after the game yeah what’s your thoughts of this whole situation

Bro I I think um you know what that so 2019 so that’s what four games straight he’s missed Four Seasons y y okay um you know I I don’t think he was he’s running from Nicole y I don’t think he’s running from anybody I think I think a bigger concern for the

76ers is this is this reoccurring swelling in his knee you know and his soreness um you know you wonder how sore is the knee but but you can tell with Joelle when his knee is sore and there are reports of it and he does play he’s

Say he only miss six six more games to be um to be eligible for regular season awards like MVP all NBA this and that I think the whole thing was a debacle I think the way that it was handled was handled poorly and you did say one thing

You did say one thing um for the reporter to ask Joel embiid after the game well if you never realize there was no quotes from Joel after the game right Jo and B wasn’t didn’t didn’t speak to the media wasn’t made available to speak to the be media Joel me didn’t want to

Speak to the media after the game so you know I I felt like um I I I think it was handle porting now I will say this you go to shoot on uh Thursday in Indiana and you go there and you see embiid with this huge heating heating

Pad on his knee right everybody’s on the court doing stuff he’s working with the medical team um he looked bad his body movement looked bad against the Pacers you know a guy who he normally dominates was dominating him in Miles Bridges he read miles Bridges ran right

Past him all and he was shooting threes on he was killing them so you know my thing is is Joel and be should have been listed on the injury report he should have been right for that one particular game because even afterwards I asked him about it in the end I said

Joe what’s up man you don’t know he says yeah I’m I’m battling through it he said I gotta go with like normally he says I’m okay he admitted that he was in pain right so then this game comes and you know the next day you go they have

Practice they gotta like practice you see Joel shooting jumpers and slippers so I’m assuming he wasn’t doing jack like you know what I’m saying he wasn’t doing anything right so the game comes from I wasn’t out there doing the pregame workout because I was in the

Locker room at the time but from what I heard he looked look he looked he looked he was laging like he looked bad people thought he was out of shape the people there thought the altitude but he doesn’t play so my thing is I get what

You’re saying but I think the way the whole thing went down now is a bad look because see at the end of the day what we’re thinking about is I think people in Philadelphia are sympathetic towards Joel andb because they know him some of them right this and that but at the same

Time the fact remains is you haven’t played there in since 2019 and it’s all and this was like you know everybody you had Ramona shelborne tweeting out the day before Joel embiid in all caps is not on on the injury report so everybody was hyped up to see

It and my hotel room I mean not room but in my hotel there was a bunch of people from Serbia there who came to watch and bead and yage that’s what they wanted so basically they came here this week they they flew and they got there they got

There uh Saturday morning right and with their their their whole time was they were going to see embiid go up against the Joker Joker go up against embiid and then they’re there today too to watch them play the Milwaukee Bucks right so they getting all that so what I’m saying

Is this game was so hyped up and then no matter what at the end of the day the fact remains is he didn’t play nor did he talk about what was wrong with him and that’s other people talking about him then what happens is he comes on the

Bench and he’s trolling the fans so to me the Optics just didn’t look good and then the thing is it’s kind of like you know yes he dominates this guy when he plays him but I just felt like the whole thing from the gate should have been handled better more properly

You know I mean it should have been and like you know the thing is like right now he’s he’s on like if he plays tonight which I I know he’s listen to his question I’d be shocked if he play he ain’t playing but if he plays a night

They uh they already ESPN already put the narrative out that if he plays a night then he was ducking the dude so he plays everybody gonna say he’s ducking him yeah it doesn’t look good that again the Optics doesn’t don’t look good and I’m not saying that he’s ducking them

But the way it’s all set up it’s like you had 70 points against wmy right then you struggle against the Pacers and then you’re out and now you don’t want to play against the ball right so but then you come back the next day and play against the struggling

He first started out his Sixers he was a a role playing power forward a guy who you didn’t want shooting the ball a guy who I mean they was trying to turn him into a three and D but you know he was more or less a rebounder a defensive guy

And you looking at him looking smooth going to the basket you look at his length you look at all that other stuff and you’re saying to yourself like I think these two guys can help the Sixers I think they can what’s your thoughts about uh Malcolm Brogden and and Jeremy

Grant I think I mean you know looking at the the health of the 76ers you know looking at guys like DeAnthony De Anthony Melton looking at you know the whole Robert Covington situation I think if you if you bring in and we’ve talked about Malcolm bragin we I think we all

Like Malcolm brag bragin is a piece and the longer this lingers you know will they or won’t they make a deal by the tra deadline the more it feels like they’re going to probably go for a guy who’s not you know you know you’ve heard the names

At the top of their wish list or allegedly at the top of their wish list um it seems like they’re more interested in seeing what their pieces finally look like and and probably making them you know I would like a Malcolm brog you know and I like Jeremy Grant too you

Know he’s um I think each one of them bring something obviously bragin is a sharp shooter uh Jeremy is a guy who you know started out as you know Defender a guy who had obvious potential as Defender but now he’s a scorer uh in a league where defense is almost

Non-existent so um if they’re going to make a move they’re not going to go for the guys who we’ve talked about who are higher on pecking order um then yeah I’m I’m completely fine with getting Mal adding a guy like Malcolm bragin and you know letting him be on the

Ball and and letting a guy like you know Maxi play off the ball and be interchangeable so it g it gives them the point guard depth that they’ve been looking for for forever so I like I like that if I had to rate them as from a desire a desirability standpoint I’d go

Malcolm braggy number one and I would go Jeremy number two I think either one of them would be would be a welcome addition particularly since you know this team just can’t seem to get healthy right now yeah the only concern I have about mol Bron and I like him a lot is

You know I think he has another he has another year after this on his deal I think for right now he can help the team out and help him better the thing about him is you got to realize like what type of fit can he become like is he gonna be

A good fit because the knock on him everywhere he’s going is that he’s tending to worn out his welcome a little bit like when things don’t go his way they say a lot of guys yeah a lot of them but but like it depends on if are

They do they bring enough for you to just deal with it and handle it like I mean because you know he’s one of those guys who has a reputation that you know he just if stuff doesn’t go well it’s just not it don’t work out right it

Doesn’t really work out um but but here’s the deal um there’s two other guys and one that you like a lot the Jon Murray you know and you know I’ve written about that before we talked about him before I’ve also written about um um uh Bruce

Brown right now these are two guys at the Sixers have said that right now they currently um is unlikely for them to go after or I think a lot of that has to do with they will have to give up too much to get them and there’s some other teams

That are leading the leading the charge for those guys but I also think that both of those guys will work extremely well I mean you look at Bruce Brown you know Bruce Brown helped the Denver Nuggets win a championship last year he paid he got paid last um this offseason

By the Indiana Pacers who in turn traded him to the the uh the Toronto Raptors but he has that winning pedigree he makes winning plays just like you know just like Jeremy Grant does right he makes winning plays but he could play the two he could play the three he’s uh

He could he would be a high level guy off the bench for you right championship caliber team as he was you know like with uh or he could start with like with you know Denver then you we all know about the Jon Murray the things that he

Would free Maxi up to do right those are two other guys and I know that the Sixers have said that um you know at this time it seems unlikely but that’s because is it because it’s unlikely because you know you you can’t get them

Or but if he falls on your lap I feel like both of those guys will be great for the Sixers yeah and you know it it it all goes back to what they’re willing to give up you know I mean um you know do they are they ready to part ways with

Tobias you know I think we both kind of agree that Tobias the way he’s playing right now I know we said this before you know in in in January and februaries of the past few years Tobias is really playing good great but Tobias when he gets back out there I mean unfortunately
