*NEW* Bulls TRADE Targets REVEALED…
A recent report has come out from Zach Buckley stating the Chicago Bulls should have some certain trade targets at the deadline this report talks about all 30 teams but the Chicago Bulls looks from Zack Buckley of Bleacher Report were certainly a different one than I would have imagined initially this is your
Host Joey Mercer this is another episode of bulls digest and before we get into it there today I just want to say that about 85% of you that watch these videos are not subscribed so if you aren’t already subscribed to the Channel make sure to go down below hit the Subscribe
Button turn on that Bell for notifications and every single time we upload you will be notified so you can stay up to dat with your Chicago Bulls and our takes on them so this article like I said is from about 4 days ago but I promised yesterday that we would catch
Up with the trade targets as we talked yesterday about players that the Bulls shouldn’t be targeting so without further Ado let’s get into the topic at hand there today and it is Bulls updated trade targets so this one initially I wasn’t going to cover when it came out a
Few days ago which is why it is coming out a little bit later but after talking about the players the Bulls shouldn’t Target that just came out yesterday this one really seems to be a great followup that should shine some light on what the Bulls should be going after at the
February 8th trade deadline the title of this article of course was every NBA team’s top three trade deadline targets and was by Zack Buckley of Bleacher Report Bleacher Report is kind of hit or miss on what they talk about so that’s why I like to give my own opinion on
What articles they come out with because it really is dependent on what they talk about and who is doing the article of Bleacher Report as well I won’t go out as far to say as who I agree with and who I don’t because it is really article
Based and then you really have to with a fine- tooth comb almost go through it and see exactly your own opinion formulated yourself the next thing that we saw in this article based on the Bulls was they need to go after draft picks and that is of course if they’re
Looking to rebuild but if they’re not looking to rebuild and go in a different direction or if they are looking to rebuild and flip him afterwards they can go after Malcolm Brogden of the Portland Trailblazers or they could go after Kevin herder if they’re looking for another shooter on the team because the
Bulls do need some three-point shooting of the Sacramento Kings who is of course having a bit of an off year but could certainly turn it around on a new team now when we look at this it says while a deadline divorce between Zack LaVine and the Chicago Bulls feels best
For all parties it still may not come to fruition given his Rock Bottom trade value Matt Mo ofaction Network know the 28-year-old still has no takers and is regarded as a distressed asset on account of his play style injury history and contract that still doesn’t change the fact that a dream deadline for
Chicago involves unloading him and getting back some kind of draft considerations outside of a LaVine deal though the Bulls aren’t looking to rebuild her NBA Insider Mark Stein you and we may not agree with that stance but this front office doesn’t always align with public perception if Chicago wants to compete
Then a shot Creator like Brogden or a net shredder like herder would both be helpful when the Bulls previously discussed a LaVine deal with the Sacramento Kings herder’s name was mentioned according to hoop Hypes Michael Scot now that’s something to talk about for sure because they say
About how Brogan’s a good shock creater and Kevin herder of course is a good um net Shredder which they mean sherp shooter in that aspect but I want to go on crafted NBA and talk about my takes on that to see if those players would really be a solid fit for the Bulls
Obviously the draft picks if we were looking to go in a different direction or even silver M relevant and try to get other teams draft picks and build on the Fly while not exactly tanking would be a solid pick the other things to do with Brogden and herder could fit the Bulls
But also couldn’t and I’ll talk about the benefits and well you know the lows of getting those players on the team is Malcolm Brogden so if we look at Brogden here you can see those badges we’ve talked about before in the past the first one with the ball that looks
Like it has a little bit of win behind it means he’s one of the best passers in the league and the second one with an arrow with a bullseye means he’s a sharpshooter one of the best Shooters in the league his Height’s about 64 with about a 611 wingspan so great size
There’s positional size of point guard is one of the better in the NBA he is 31 years old which is definitely starting to get a little older but he still definitely has some left in the tank similar to Zack LaVine he definitely has some injury woses that you’d want to
Worry about but this is how he’s playing so far this season we can see that his true shooting percentage is not very good at all it’s in the 36th percentile but the quality of shots he’s taking is really good in the 90th a lot of that
Tells you that because of the team that he’s on he’s having to take some shots that he wouldn’t normally take because there aren’t as many people able to create at a uh solid rate on that team so he definitely is a good shot Creator the load and creation are some of the
Top in the league and the passer rating 94% off for the load and creation 9 first for passer rating one of the best shot Creator passers in the entire NBA right now is Malcolm Brogden he doesn’t get to the free line nearly enough for a
Guy that does drive a fair bit and his 3o A1 rate is about League average he grabs a good few offensive rebounds as well as defensive ones as we’ll get to that in a minute but this is only based on point guards in the league however it
Is still very good uh might have to do a lot with his wings fan but still you have to give him credit where it’s due when he tries to create the turnovers set he causes her not very often at all 83rd per though which is really good as
Well and the portability is because he is such a good shooter he showed that on the Boston Celtics when he won six-man last season and he can also create very well so why wouldn’t he be able to fit on just about any team in the league at
The 86 percentile of portability that is very accurate there nothing to argue on that front when it comes to Malcolm Brockton his deflections are pretty low though when we look at the defensive side of things 32% down not the worst around not the best uh he doesn’t cause
Barely any turnovers in the league on the defensive end 5% they really bad at that aspect but his rebounding is really good his versatility play within a team system is really good on defense and he doesn’t foul very often at all so at least you’re getting that he doesn’t
Block many shots for a guy with a nearly 611 wingspan at the 14th percentile and he only go to the rim to contest those shots about League average which is okay he’s not getting Blocks he’s not causing as many turnovers his deflection is a bit lower a guy with that sort of a
Wingspan you would expect a little bit more out of but he doesn’t give as much of the defensive end as you’d like however it’s still a huge upgrade over Zack LaVine and is even better than the two players we talked about yesterday being Deonte Murray and D’Angelo Russell
I did break down how Deon is having a very poor year as he has with the Hawkin joining them on the defensive end but it could definitely be the team system with him there however I think brog just isn’t quite a great defender is poor but isn’t exactly the worst around there are
Much worse than him in the league and he is on Portland right now still being able to be I guess relevant on the defensive side of things the next player that we’re talking about and the last is Kevin herder when we look at that there the rench actually means he’s a high and
Tangible player meaning he can fit really well within a team system and really understands the game that is essentially what that intangible wrench means on crafted NBA he’s 66 with about a 68 wingspan so pretty average nothing crazy there uh pretty mediocre actually when it comes to the wingspan for an NBA
Player his positional size at about a B minus it’s kind of average of course and he is only 25 years old so there’s still a lot of room to grow for Kevin herder and we’ve heard that he has been a bit of a uh slouch so far the season hasn’t
Really performed with the Sacramento Kings too well but the three inde there he is picking it up on the defensive end although his three-pointer isn’t falling as much this season which is great to see out of him compared to last year when we actually go down and we look at
His stats there the season they’re not as bad as I thought they would be on the offensive end he’s definitely taken a little bit of a dip the true shooting percentage is really poor 28th percenti he’s never going to get to the line uh he doesn’t drive that often at all as
You can see his three-point attempted rate is one the top in the league at the 81st percent off so that free throw rate I wouldn’t worry about too much the shock quality could be a little better it’s at the 74th per though for a guy that shoots that many threes a lot are
Open as well I I would like to see that a little higher but is still very good and is considered very good in the NBA at the 74th per off his creation turnovers are actually surprisingly really low when he’s trying to create and tries to dribble he doesn’t turn
Over her hard ly at all the 85th percentile that’s something to see there shows me some flashes and I’ve seen him compared to that in the past on the offensive side of Klay Thompson and that’s exactly what you want to see out of him the load and the creation are
Pretty low but still above leue average at the 63rd and 62 percentile respectively and the portability should be higher for a guy that shoots and plays a bit of Defense but like I said he’s had a bit of a lower year and 78% though still very solid his passer
Ratings hard than I thought it would be but really shows that he can swing the all in the proper offense at a 74th per all and overall the 80th per off for his crafted offens of plus minus is very good his deflections at the 60th percentile are pretty solid for guy
Without a huge wingspan he doesn’t cause many defensive turnovers at the 25th percentile and his Rim defense is not great but once again not the biggest wingspan around but the frequency of him going there is still pretty good at the 63rd percentile it’s just you wouldn’t
Expect them to get as many blocks but the rim defense should be better regardless of the wingspan his defensive rebounds are actually really good 78th percentil is a lot better than I thought it would ever be and his versatility of course on defense is not very good uh
Might not be able to work as well in the team system as Brogden and he fouls a little bit too much as well his overall defensive plus minus is in the 55th percentile and because of that rebounding his ability to get deflections above League average and his Rim frequency with everything else able
To kind of take a little bit of a step up and become League average causes him to be a three and D threat because he can still play defense just not as consistently and is a very good three-point attempter uh gets a lot of shots off from that range and once the
Shots are falling he is a really solid three and D player in this league overall when I look at it the player I’d want to go after of course would be herder because he is a little bit younger without injury history and in a different system he could be very good
For the Chicago Bulls that’d be a player I’d want to Target for sure giving up Zack LaVine Brogden I wouldn’t want to give up LaVine at all it would be a different player for sure I’m not sure if I love that with the injury rol with
Him but he could be a very solid fit and if he can stay healthy we could make a push in the playoffs if we get some other pieces around him or he could probably be uh flipped for more value than herder on a championship team because he kind of has that pedigree
Playing with uh the Bucks a few years ago and then also playing with the um when you look at the Boston Celtics story last season he had a deep playoff push with them as well this has been your host Joey Mercer I hope you like everything you saw in the video today

I just watched Malcolm Brogdon last night with the Portland Trailblazers against the Bulls, he did not look that great to me?? Plus, he is 31 years old, which means that he is aging and slowing down, not too far from DeMar. Also, Kevin Huerter's shooting isn't that great this year?? Thus, I would just try to keep Zach Lavine and build around Him, Ayo, Coby, D. Terry, and J. Phillips. To be honest with you, the Bulls are set at the Guard and Forward positions. All they really need, IMO, is a 2-Way, True 7-Foot Center (5-Position). I am talking a young Anthony Davis-type or a little better version of DeAndre Ayton, with Andre Drummond coming off the bench behind. Also, Vooch could just move to the Starting Power Forward (4-Position) with Williams coming off the bench, behind Vooch.
Trae Young want to go to the Spurs.
Zach should go as well.
They both need Gregg Popovich fathering. With their Rook?!?! Instant playoffs. Fresh
We all know spurs about to rebuild around Victor.
Hawks knows they about to loss their main. So the may be thinking about the future right now.
Let get pitch a 3-way trade!
Our best option is to keep Lavine
