I may be wrong but I think Bruce brown is on a lot of teams radar…

>The Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks have been two teams in contact with the Raptors in recent weeks regarding Brown, sources said.
>Then again, the Raptors have made it clear that they want at least one first-round pick for Brown, as well as additional talent.

Bruce for Moody and filler

Siegal’s basically suggesting Brown, Gary and OPJ, for Wiggins, Paul or Saric and possibly Moody and a pick. No thanks. Too many old dudes for a team that wants to gets younger.

I would not want wiggins on his contract for this team since we have to pay Iq and scottie soon, and already have RJ’s contract. But if he is coming back in any deal I’d be optimistic that maybe playing at home closer to his family would help him. he hasn’t been the same since missing 21 games due to his dad’s health issues and that’s understandable.

Wouldn’t be opposed to turning Brown in to a bad contract + pick(s)/young player but Wiggins has been awful for 90 percent of the season and that contract is lonnnnnnng

Stop trying to dump Wiggs on us ffs.

Wiggins is such an interesting one. He’s a buy low rehabs project but it’s a risky one. I struggle to believe Wiggins has fallen off as much as it seems he has and he would theoretically fit fairly well between RJ and Scottie in the starting lineup (also gives us the POA defender we need). But the length on that contract makes it a massive risk.
I saw a trade on Twitter that was essentially Brown and Otto for Wiggins, Moody, and a pick. Would have to be two different trades to get around the “can’t aggregate with Brown”. If Wiggins had only 2 years left I would consider that, but with 3 years left, I’d need more.

Might just be me but I’m not too excited about the thought of getting Moody

It would be hilarious if Toronto ended up with Moody, filler, and a pick for Brown when the warriors said that was too big an asking price for Siakam

I would be happy with moody but not Including GTJ. Feel like signing him to something like 3/40 benefits us in the long term. He was playing hurt throughout the season and he’s playing worse than he actually is atm. We gotta continue to build shooting around Scottie Barnes and it’s little early to move on from Trent unless he’s asking for a lot of money in a extension.

Don’t actually hate this. Wiggins’ contract is garbage right now, but I don’t think he suddenly just turned into trash overnight. Whatever really happened to him last season is obviously still bothering him and he’ll get it back in time. It’s worth the risk given we’re not going to be a playoff team for the length of his contract anyways, IMO.

A future first from Golden state could be…. Golden, they’re going to fall off pretty soon, they’re already old and one Curry injury away from possibly being league bottom. They’re capped out and have a lack of draft capital to fill out the roster on the cheap
