Honestly, these tribute videos are getting out of hand. I’m a nets fan and while durant almost single handily beat the bucks in the playoffs, his tenure was nothing worthwhile. I dont think he deserved one. It seems like everyone is getting a tribute video for only being on a team for 2 or 3 years. They should be reserved for people like dame or beal or even Marcus smart or for someone who at least won a championship.

I get why it seems silly but I’m curious how many people commenting have actually been to an NBA game (or any sport) when a long tenured or significant player returns. They almost always show quick videos like this.
It’s really not a big deal. Role players get them. It’s usually just a short ~20 second montage they play during the first TV timeout. It’s not like they have a halftime celebration, it’s not like they’re presenting them with a trophy. It’s literally just a graphic they show in the arena.
Because it’s KD I feel like a lot of people are making it out to be a big deal but it really isn’t if you’ve ever been to a game. Shit happens a lot.
