Makes sense. Best case scenario is he plays better and is easier to ship out in the off-season when there’s more flexibility. Can’t imagine there’s good value out there for him now.

Can someone ask him about JK too just to make sure.

The front office is smart. No way they’ll find a better player than Wiggs in the current market. Our best bet is to see him perform closer to his potential and make the team better with his all around presence.

It’s just so tough lol. Like what a weird season so far. Bc ideally ( besides a big) 2022 Wiggs is kind of exactly what they’ve been missing. A capable shooter, POA defending wing who can finish strong around the rim.

That year Klay/ Poole and Wiggs were kind of all the #2 scorer behind Steph on any given night. You could argue at this point Kuminga has taken over Pooles scoring role although it’s in a totally different way. But if Klay/ Wiggs aren’t playing up to par and in that conversation they’re in trouble. And so far both of them have consistently struggled to fill that role this season.

The best case scenario was always that Wigs just plays better.

I really can’t imagine how stressful the last few months must have been for him. I’m really happy he was able to figure it out. Fans need to have more empathy and compassion, athletes make a lot of money but it comes with a huge mental toll.

Welp.. we’ll be a play in team at best boys!

  8. I’m just glad the FO and the coaching staff is NOT doing what the majority of this sub is asking to be done (trade and split the team)

    So glad 🤭🤭🤭

Wiggs played well for one week and kept his job 😂

Good. I hope the Trade Wiggins crowd is in shambles.

Wiggs has actually been doing a lot better recently. I know he was going through some shit last year and that shit doesn’t just go away, but hopefully he is in a better space to handle it.

Right now we see the Warriors are playing best with Wiggins and Kuminga’s length and athleticism, since they are both play finishers and not play creators/facilitators their minutes haven’t been very productive until Draymond was inserted into that mix.

So now we have an effective starting lineup, Curry/Klay/Wiggs/Kuminga/Dray, our defense has improved but can get better with GPII back, our bench production has been best with Chris Paul so it would be great to have him back.

Warriors need to win at least 3 of their next 5 road game, get through the Suns game and then hope that GPII and CP3 can come back shortly after All Star break.

Then we want to see this team stay healthy and go on a run where they can secure a spot at least in the play-in and then hope for a good first round matchup and a big pinch of luck to make a deep playoff run.

I give it about a 20% chance of coming together and happening.

    It’s crazy.

Wiggs starts to look like 2022 Wiggs again, we got less-angry-Draymond back upping our Defensive numbers, Steph starting to put up 30+ regularly again, and JK solidifying himself as our No. 2 scoring threat and a lot of our issues from a month don’t seem as bad anymore.

Wiggins’ play has continued to improve, he’s been locked in since Draymond has been back. I don’t think we need to trade him, I still have faith in him and the team. If Wiggins locks in for the season, we will be a scary fk team. ✊

I have been saying there is no way any trade is happening. There isn’t anything worth a damn out there and this team just loves to think it’s always about to turn a corner, so I just cannot see anything happening. I also don’t think there will be any major trades over the summer. I really do think we are going to see this core ride until the end, massive taxes, low win percentage and all.
