Journalist that has reported on various LeBron moves in the past tweets out that the Lakers are looking to trade James

https://x.com/DavidPingalore/status/1753182060364386308?s=20

> Hearing from @nba peeps @KingJames is the top of the @Lakers list to trade the 39 year old. Pelinka is looking for the right team to dance with and is close to a suitor Lbj and AD both out tonight. @KTLA

This journalist has predicted many other things before, including the [LeBron move to the Lakers](https://x.com/DavidPingalore/status/961725153607430144?s=20) (right after the Cavs 2018 trade deadline moves), [LeBron opting out of the Heat in 2014 to go to the Cavaliers](https://x.com/DavidPingalore/status/481441334151356418?s=20), and [Kawhi being interested in the Clippers over the Lakers](https://x.com/DavidPingalore/status/1145178332754898945?s=20).

Obviously take all insider sources with a grain of salt but this reporter seems to have some level of credibility.

I won’t even be made if he requested a trade we’ve failed him lol

  2. CNN sources 🤝 KTLA sources

I guess I’d have to ask who would be able to match his salary in a possible trade scenario.

And who who would be the teams that would most likely engage in trade talks for him.

Also, I get that at some point, LeBron isn’t going to be a Laker forever, but if he leaves sooner before Ham, it would leave a not-so-good perception of Lakers FO & ownership.

all hail pingalord. I remember the summer of 2019. He was RDAmbition but actually right

  5. TimothyN

That would be the wildest trade ever. I simply cannot imagine it happening unless he’s demanding out.

  6. BadBoySwag

Do it and make it the greatest trade deadline ever

  7. To the Warriors for all of their young players, draft assets, and CP3’s contract?

  8. Significant_Night_65

Just burn the stadium down if we trade LeBron over firing Ham

  9. he became a meme on the clippers subreddit since he was basically the only person who held firm that Kawhi was coming here during those few days or so of the 2019 offseason. but if he’s right about this his legacy will truly be secured.

(just don’t trade him to the Thunder please i swear to god literally anyone else)

Lebron to the Sixers for Tobias Harris and picks? 🤔

  11. KermitTheEdgelord

I just sincerely doubt a mid-season trade because of what happened to Bronny and his health. I think he would rather just stay close to home and support him as much as he could.

  12. SolarPoweredDevil

Warriors or Heat would both be good for him.

Warriors are a little risky because they’re not even in the playoffs, but a few years of LeBron and Steph would be fun.

  13. WorldTwisting

Windhorst had that comment a few weeks ago that he thinks he’s playing next season but didn’t know if it going to be on the Lakers

  14. Tigercat92

I’m surprised LeBron doesn’t have a no trade clause. Do those still exist?

  15. indreams159

Pingus Bombs… ahhhh, those were the days

  16. p0tatoman

He would only play for the Clippers/Warriors/Suns maybe Cavs or Knicks if he’s willing to move away from his family for a year

  17. Street-Common-4023

Moving AD to okc would be insane btw

  18. cardcollection92

Randle + every tradeable pick we have

  19. what’s happening to Lebron retiring in LA and business interests and shit?

  20. LosAngeles1s

picking Ham over LeBron oh god please blow up this franchise

  21. __john_cena__

While I don’t believe this guy, and I don’t believe the Lakers will do it, if they are not willing to go all in on this season (hire a new coach, put picks and assets on the table to upgrade, etc.) then it would absolutely be the right move to trade him.

Their present team is going nowhere and he is 39.

  22. Charliebitme1234

Tobias Harris and 7 first round picks for half a season of lebron. who says no?

  23. HatefulDan

Well, this is one way to get some assets back

Edit: which also mean AD would be next

  24. HombreMan24

It would be so funny if the Rockets traded for him and then hear Dillan Brooks talk about how great Lebron is.

  25. It’s PINGALORD back with his casual nukes

put some respect on da PingaLord’s name

  26. frogskin92

Lewis to Ferrari. LeBron to the Warriors. Subscribe to this timeline.

  27. MickeyZvornik8

Ham to Ferrari, now this? Fuck it, why not

  28. Fingers crossed for that LeBron Bullets jersey 🤞

  29. pinkiebear

i need the ultimate chaos of curry x bron team up

  30. I mean IF Lebron isn’t planning to return to Lakers next season with bronny potentially being drafted then this move makes sense. Get value out of him because the Lakers aren’t bringing home a title this year
