@Los Angeles Lakers

[Pingalore] Hearing from @nba peeps @KingJames is the top of the @Lakers list to trade the 39 year old. Pelinka is looking for the right team to dance with and is close to a suitor Lbj and AD both out tonight.

    LMAO

Edit; Let’s say this hypothetical situation happens Is AD gone too?

  2. do him a favor and trade him to a contender with a coach that doesnt have CTE

what a way to fade the goat’s last years

  3. clintoy47

Wonder what package we can get for him. So sad that ham will even be retained over bron if this rumor is true.

  4. CockroachForeign6419

I would cry… not cuz he got traded but cuz id have to buy another league pass

  5. BizzyHaze

I mean the guy isnt a nobody, he is a 25year KTLA alum.

I’d imagine the only teams would be the Clippers or Golden State

  6. KWash0222

This would be an embarrassment, and honestly our FO deserves it

  7. TheWhisperingDeath

    Its bullshit.

But imagine if Darvin Ham actually outlasts LeBron and AD etc.

  8. Odd-Direction9452

Y’all dismissing this like it’s outside the realm of possibility.

Bron cryptically tweeted a “time’s up” emoji a week ahead of the trade deadline and is now inactive after a day’s rest, against the Lakers top rival no less. He is also 39. Nothing is promised at his age. Yet he is having his healthiest season in years being wasted on a below .500 team with a dysfunctional front office that won’t fire a joke of a coach.

Why is it unbelievable that he would want to finish this season out somewhere else?

If the lakers trade Lebron I can see that killing any hope of attracting other superstars to sign with us

  10. If jeanie stepping down helps us keep Lebron she might have to, her father would never trade a goat player without a fight.

  11. Lakers never ever trades away superstars. If Jeanie does this fans should burn down the Staples Center together with the nepo family

  12. Just saw this. Have a hard time believing they’d trade LeBron unless he told them he was planning to opt out in the summer maybe?

  13. srkfan123

Guess okc can give us some of their 10000000 picks

  14. tennischmp

Which contending team will be able to trade 50 mil away and satisfy the Laker’s demands and still remain championship contender?

  15. StoneColdAM

Any positives from the LeBron era would be lost if the team became so poorly ran, they had to trade Bron and AD. Why would any star want to come here?

  16. If we trade LeBron cause Jeanie is too cheap to fire Ham the Lakers are done as a marquee franchise until we get new ownership. Jeanie will have destroyed what Dr. Buss, Magic and Kobe built. I’ll take the downvotes on this one.

  17. Honestly as a Lebron fan I would love this. I’d like to see him not play for an idiot head coach

  18. Rapa_Nui

Losing LeBron,AD, Rui and DLO because Jeanie is too cheap to fire Darvin Ham…

If the Lakers trade Lebron fucking James who every player looks up to because they were not good enough to get him enough help not a single free agent is ever going to come here. Take it to the bank.

People overrate “the brand”. The brand was already struggling before Lebron with these fucking nepo babies running the team. Lebron being traded because we are incompetent would put the final nail in the coffin. Just look how much “the brand” has done for the Knicks or Bulls.

This organization is a disgusting joke. Idk why I even root for them with those broke (by NBA owner standards) nepo morons running it.

  20. Nickster2042

    Could you imagine? Lmao?

    Darvin Ham over Lebron😂

  21. evilmonk234

if this actually happens instead of firing fucking ham i will actually no longer be a laker fan until jeanie or pelinka leave

  22. IxmagicmanIx

He must have asked for a trade. And honestly if he wants out, we should trade him. We’ve let him down throughly for most of his time here

  23. jurassic_snark-

Wow they’re so committed to Scam they’re going to pawn off the GOAT? I’m finding this really hard to believe

  24. LakersUSC

Lakers wasted 4.5 of LBJs 6 seasons here. LBJ said he had enough

I don’t have the heart to see it all end like this

  26. CooperHouseDeals

I’m an old, really old Laker fan. Thru good days and bad. But this current situation is beyond disgusting. There is so much speculation about players, but the real sh*t show starts and ends with the worst coach in the NBA. Getting rid of LeBron, but not Ham is desperation

  27. The “let’s trade LeBron and AD and start rebuilding!” crowd is hilarious. If the FO can’t build a playoff team around 2 top 15 players in the league… what makes you think they can build a contender without them??

  28. BenLemons

I’m sure it’s been said in here but if LeBron is traded I need the entire ownership group gone

  29. PokerPlayingRaccoon

Who tf is pingalore and who tf are these “nba peeps” lol

  30. AdLeading3824

I’ll preface by saying Lebron is 1 of 1. There’s no replacing the goat. That said, ultimately this comes down to two things: 1) whether or not you believe an AD/Lebron lead team can win a championship now 2) does Lebron not exercise his player option next year and leave to play somewhere else with Bronny. If you think those two are true, then you might want to consider trading him for future assets or else we get nothing back.

If you think AD won’t be happy with this and will want out, then FO will need to reassure him of our near and long term plans – maybe we’re targeting to sign another superstar in free agency. I know AD came to the Lakers because of Lebron, but Lebron has already stated he wants to play with Bronny wherever that may be. Thats gotta make AD butt hurt right?

Personally, I’m kind of tired of paying long tenured max contracts on players on the tail end of their careers. While these old superstars can still put up goat performances, it starts to become inconsistent and their defense is usually the first to go. Its hard to build a contender when $50m of your salary cap is inconsistent

I would love for Lebron to retire a Laker, but if he’s made no indication that that is what HE wants as well then we shouldn’t treat him as untradable.

  31. izzyllamas

If this is true, trading arguably one of the best if not the best players of all time because the organization can’t stomach being wrong, would be the stupidest move ever.

  32. TheWonderfulLife

The stans aren’t going to like it, but it’s 100% the right move. Time to move on from LBJ and let him go somewhere he can compete for this year. He’s told them he’s not going to pick up his option next year is my guess.

    Edit: Knicks.

  33. eric2018wong

These rumors are spread Ham camp to deflect himself from being fired. On what planet would some choose not to fire Ham the Scam and trade lebron.
Oh wait we are owned by poor Buss owners and Pelinka…

  34. NicDwolfwood

I want to say they can’t be this stupid…but evidence is far too great of that to not believe it even a little.

    God help us all lol

  35. Eric_T_Meraki

As a lifelong LeBron fan, I’ll always cherish my memories on this sub. The good times and mostly bad times.
