i have been a big time sean marks defender. if there is even a tiny bit of truth that we are declining getting more than one of our picks back for mikal, i’m outta here. final straw.
all depends which picks they are and if Jalen Green is actually in the deal. the 2024 draft class is supposed to be terrible so I wouldn’t rate that pick very highly. Green + 2 of the 25-27 picks would definitely get me intrigued.
These are situations where you could take advantage. Whitmore, Thomas, one of our first back and swap back for Bridges and Royce (and of course, matching salaries). We would have a nice young team.
I’d want Jabari Smith and all of our unprotected picks and swaps back at absolute minimum. Would probably want Eason as well and maybe an additional first

Without specifics it’s meaningless to really speculate too deep.
But
If marks gets back both picks and swaps from Houston he will look like a genius.
For anything less, saying we aren’t interested and keeping mikal happy is the right move imo.
