Wiggs has quietly developed a serious knack for the drive-and-kick pass this season. He’s noticed defenses consistently collapsing on him when he drives & willingly leaving some of our 40% 3P shooters, and even Steph and Klay sometimes, wide open on the perimeter to do so, and he’s making ‘em pay.

I feel like we’re going to see a major 2024 Wiggins hero arc & I am here for it.
I’m glad he’s finding his stride lately but it’s unacceptable for Wiggs to be in his physical prime and literally take half the season before getting into a groove. Up until recently, even Klay who’s lost a defensive step, and is as streaky as ever on offense, was playing better. Klay, who’s 34, and still playing after two catastrophic injuries. Love Wiggs man but he’s really sold for two straight seasons now.
I’m just happy that Kerr is willing to commit to a certain line-up and try to combine our players individual strengths. This is not a below .500 team, no way. Our best days of the season are ahead of us.
One of the main differences between this recent stretch of games from Wiggins compared to the beginning of the season is how he’s finishing at the rim and actually using his athleticism. At the beginning, he would attack the rim extremely soft and try laying it up and/or doing a floater, whereas now, he’s attacking with purpose. Like just look at how many dunks he has gotten in the past few games alone, probably more than the entire beginning of the season combined. Athletic/Aggressive Wiggs >>>>>>>>>>
I’ve noticed that too, if him and JK continue doing it then it will open the floor for Steph/Klay/Dario etc

i know he was ass up until 5-6 games ago, but I can’t hate the guy. I really want him to succeed and be that 21-22 Wiggins again.
