It happened to Lillard, Booker and Kemba, didn’t make all star until they started winning. Love Barnes and he has the numbers but it ain’t gonna happen when our team is this far below .500

if OG and Siakam were still on the team and we were closer to a 0.500 record, I’m sure Scottie would have snuck in.
but the FO decided to blow up the team earlier. it is what it is.

A player with a solid case for the all star, let alone a fringe all star player chances on a tanking team is always pretty dicey..
But If you want to pretend the Raptors being a Canadian team doesn’t hurt the chances a player is a all star have at it. Some of us live in reality.

IIRC Lowry got snubbed a couple of times by the coaches before Raptors fans forced the issue by voting him in and then consistent winning opened the door for more Raptors to make it. This is all part of the development process and i hope it motivates Scottie to take his game to the next level.
