I’m so glad that the trade deadline wasn’t a month earlier because I don’t know if JK would be untouchable if it was.

A true team win. Even the Sea Dubs looked great in Lester and Gui.

They’re playing better on ball defense. Which has been critical.

Amazing team effort tonight. Big ups to Kuminga and Pod! We’re so back!

  3. shanks_you

Thoroughly enjoying watching the way Kuminga is playing right now. Comfortable our No.2 now.

And Podz is quite good at point-guarding isn’t he?

  4. Jannik0433

How are the refs even allowed to just take away a three long after the play is over?

Give my GOAT his three points

  5. purple_cupcake_52

Did we win with a huge lead for once!? 20 fucking points. Excellent revenge game on the grizzlies

  6. Ahrilicious

The midget on the other team tried his best. Cojo for that guy who says no

  7. Banned3rdTimesaCharm

We gonna be shampionship. Kuminga FMVP.

  8. thegreatsentry409

Nice win, we beat the Grizzlies by 20 in a blowout and won back to back games on top of a JK and Podz masterclass. I’m happy.

Kuminga is becoming a special player, really coming into his own

I’ve been arguing around here for weeks with people about the Cory Joseph minutes. See, the bench doesn’t need him to be able to bring the ball up.

As a matter of fact, he doesn’t even bring the ball up half the time when he’s playing. Even more important, playing him next to Steph don’t make any sense, no matter hoy many injured guards this team may have.

  11. I love the youth getting a lot of minutes tonight. Match energy with energy. Kerr is pushing the right buttons right now.

Yea so Kumingas going to be an all star within the next two years. Very cool. Also shoutout Podz with 10/7/12/2

“I ain’t gonna lie, me with the ball… Nobody can guard me” – Jonathan Kuminga

I think we may finally be at the turning point of the season with JK coming into his own. It’s fucking amazing too see! Go dubs

  16. Boostaru

Man this Kuminga leap has been a delight to watch man, legit looks like a star out there

Good win Kuminga is the real deal also helped by the fact Steph fully trusts him and enjoys playing with him now. Love it keep winning.

I think this team is probably better off with two things going forward:

-Kuminga has played his last game as a Warrior coming off the bench. No need to add much, he’s that good.

-The days of 30+ minutes for Klay every single close game no matter his performance or the matchup are gone.

With JK establishing himself as a major contributor and Wiggs coming back into form, he should really fight for minutes with Podz and Gp2/Cp3 whenever/if they’re back, or even Saric/TJD if Kerr want to go bigger.

The new starting lineup +Podz instead of Klay seem to play some nasty defense, and Podz offer a different dimension as a connecting piece with his playmaking, aswell as being a much better rebounder, in a lineup that needs rebounding.

As important as that might be, and I hate to say it, addition by substraction. Not that Klay isn’t still great, but at times the offense can get predictable and sluggish constantly looking for him and trying to get him going.

The thing is if he isn’t in a good rhythm from early, his overall performance suffers, it’s always been like that, even at his prime before injuries. He’ll chuck rushed shots if he feels they aren’t involving him offensively, and is more prone to nake mistakes defensively and not box out(one of my bigggest pet peeves with him).

I’m not really sure Kerr sees it the same way since he’s always closed the games with Klay no matter what. And I’m sure Klay doesn’t sees it like this. No issue with that, he’s a competitor. I wonder if he’s even willing to accept a lesses role, with him being a expiring and everything.

Despite the refs best efforts pulled off a win again. Don’t care if it’s against g leaguers haha.

29 pt game from kuminga. Fucking amazing.

  20. Lmao. You all watching Podz in this interview?

    > shiiiieeettt

    So funny.

  21. Used_Water_2468

Of all the teams we play against, I get the most satisfaction out of beating the whiny Grizzlies.

Yes I am still upset about Dillon Brooks injuring GP2.

Yes I am still upset at their whiny coach saying Poole injured Ja’s knee.

They can stfu and shove it.

  22. LaughingPlanet

JK 11-15 and Podz 14 Asst 0 TO is my takeaway.

Is 2 timelines back? Light years?

  23. Floppy_Jet1123

Let’s build on this. Late season push for a playoff spot!!

  24. Mario_Prime510

WHERE’s 49 WIN GUY AT?! THIS ONE FOR YOU!!

  25. gsolis31

I don’t know what’s gonna happen but at least I see some joy in this team again.

  26. EffinCroissant

Props to Kerr for closing with Podz over Klay. He’s learning! 😁

  27. Vallerie_09

“Low IQ” Jonathan Kuminga saved us again. His value for money and the overall value as a 2 way wing is way too high for us. I love how hungry and coachable the kid is. Kuminga is just unstoppable in the Curry, Klay/Podz, Wiggs and Dray lineup. Plenty of space to thrive, ball moves well, and lots of switchability on defense(he’s been communicating well on that end)

  28. Creeping_behind_u

brandin dropped the ‘shiiiiiiiit’ in post game interview lmao
owner/coach/GM’s gonna have a short chat with him in locker room lmao.

It’s like watching a young Kawhi elevate an aging spurs core.
