It’s crazy that this fanbase is more vocal against the idea of Scottie being selected as an Allstar than the general public and media.
Just because you’re trying to be a “practical non-homer fan” doesn’t mean you should overlook basic facts. Joel Embiid and Julius Randle will most likely be out due to injuries and Scottie Barnes is next in line. KP hasn’t played enough games, Derrick White has been a good 3-4th option but he ain’t Him. But seriously, Scottie has more of a chance now to be an All-Star.

Still waiting for him to rebuild the Raptors.
Well now I can sleep soundly tonight 🙏
When will they announce injury replacements?
I think a key factor for Silver is how many wins has the player led their team to this season, which is why even Trae looks like a longshot. We have a significantlly worse record than Bulls and the Hawks. Also some were our wins/close losses were due to Pascal which weakens his case. I’m sure Derrick White was a leading scorer for the Celtshts for quite a few won games.
I doubt Scottie gets it this year. We just suck too much. Scottie needs to play up the popular vote more next year at least. Maybe some posters and Twitch stream memes is how it is lol.
He’ll get it soon no matter what though. The guy is a winner and spectacular player. The more he learns the more the league going to take notice 💪
Can we stop acting as if the opinions of some random talking heads on social media actually matter?
I can’t imagine anyone watching this team play and think “Scottie is an all star”.
Scottie was more of an all star when we had OG and Siakam
Wouldn’t count anyways because it’s just cuz the guys actually chosen are injured. Asterisk all star just like Fred
I trust Kenny on like 99% of takes so I want to hear why he thinks this before making any assumptions
I really don’t care who makes it as an all-star if the raps are playing as bad as yesterday ngl
Shouldn’t we all be rooting for him to be an all-star? Name another team that has traded two elite starters on their team mid season? Also had to deal with tons of injuries after those trades? We have to put some of these losses into context, we can’t compare the Raptors situation to any other team in the league based on all the moving parts. It’s hard to win when you’re in the middle of chaos. I bet Adam Silver also recognizes this and factors it into the decision of who makes the all-star game, and see that Scottie’s been dealt a tricky hand this year which makes it hard to blame him for the record.
