Knicks closed MSG early for construction tonight with all that bricklaying in the 4th

  2. Ijustquaffed

AD literally dominated this game on defense. Holy shit he was a monster in the paint

Lakers defense was suffocating the 4th quarter

  3. KingREX_24

That defense LeBron played on Brunson was so satisfying, ik he needs to conserve energy but sometimes I wish he’d switch onto guards more like he did with Murray in the bubble.

And AD owns the paint, nobody is getting shit over him.

  4. Celtics and Knicks were the scheduled get right games

  5. jacobtredd00

These games are what makes AD my favorite player, physical on the boards all night and one of a kind defense. All the stuff box score watchers don’t appreciate about him

Hartenstein has to be able to stay on the floor. Three of his fouls were pointless, with Sims and Taj as our only backups he is crucial.

Second thing is Hart. He needed to step up offensively. At the end of the fourth Lakers started doubling Brunson and the only passing threat they had to worry about was Donte so every possession ended trying to meet AD at the hoop. He passed up open looks from three multiple times.

  7. EpicSoyMilk

We beat good teams and lose to bad teams. That’s the Lakers baby.

  8. JilJungJukk

We coming to lose to the Hornets soon 😤

  9. MadSpaceYT

running a 7 man rotation, the witchcraft was going to end eventually lol

  10. HokageEzio

Lakers played lockdown defense. Proved exactly why we still need a bench scorer at the deadline. Sadly the “just don’t lose lol” strategy stopped working.

  11. TSSFranco

Having three non-shooters on the floor with Brunson finally caught up to us lol

  12. FeminismIsTheBestIsm

Beat the 19-27 Hawks and the 23-25 Rockets? ❌

Beat the #1 seed Celtics and the resurgent Knicks? ✅

This team has gotta be trolling bro, watch them lose to the Hornets soon

  13. RainierPC

It must be sooo frustrating being a Lakers fan, seeing what they are capable of when they feel like actually playing.

  14. Turns out when you have AD guarding the paint and only two players capable of hitting a three, you just have to double-team one of them and you’ve shut down the entire offense.

  15. blatant_shill

I know people hate when AD isn’t putting up an efficient 30 point game, but the Lakers defense looks so much better when he’s allowed to rest on offense.

  16. ChrisIsDaBomb17

I never want to hear that Sabonis is better than AD again. Dudes amazing

  17. BigBoyFroggy

That lineup in the 4th was INCREDIBLE defensively, wow

  18. Max Christie is a legit player, unsure why he didn’t get a shot on Brunson

  19. oopseedoopseewee

Absolute lockdown in the 4th even without Vando, ADPOY doing his shit. I know this is a Knicks team without OG and Randle but still a big W with Brunson balling out. Won’t be too surprised if we struggle against Charlotte knowing this team lol.

  20. tropic_gnome_hunter

Two things can be true at once. The Lakers played extremely well and were very impressive.

The Knicks also finally ran out of gas after playing without 4 significant contributors.

I also continue to find it tedious at all the comments about the minutes players are getting. “Typical Thibs running players into the ground”. The Knicks do not have a single player in the top 10 for minutes per game. I have not seen anyone in this sub criticize Vogel when the Suns have two players in the top 10 for MPG.

  21. Someone in the top 4 of the west is getting grizz’d by the Lakers again this year, who will it be? Thunder?

  22. Lakers with some of the most aggressive doubles i’ve seen on Brunson this season. Josh Hart and Divincenzo as our 2nd and 3rd option on offense had no chance.

Good game if you’re a fan of defense

  23. Tall_Succotash

anyone else get a huge 00’s basketball vibe from this game?? incredible down to the end!
ADOPY!! I’m sorry but there’s just no one better than him.

BRON& Austin have to be one of the best fourth quarter 2 man game that just completely shut down a game.
