This Could Change EVERYTHING For The Bulls Future…

After some heartbreaking news yesterday evening we’re now hearing that the Bulls have the best odds to land bam at a bio at the trade deadline we’re going to break down what all that will entail here on this episode of bulls digest I’m your host Joy Mercer and before we get

Into it there today I just want to say about 85% of you that watch these videos are not subscribed so if you aren’t already subscribed make sure to go down below hit that subscribe button turn on the bell for notifications and every single time we upload you will be

Notified so you can stay up to date with your Chicago Bulls and our takes here at Bulls digest on them so without further Ado let’s get into the topic at hand there today and that is Bam going to Chicago so we haven’t heard too much Buzz about him being moved but after

Recent reports that I’ve seen floating around Twitter saying that bam has been playing the great greatest since Terry roer’s joined the team and he’s also come out and talked to the media talking about how he really liked playing with Kyle Lowry and now the fit with roier

Isn’t exactly what the heat had a imagined with uh bam next to him I do believe that tier roier is a very good player but the reason that he was playing shooting guard in Charlotte wasn’t because of lamelo ball necessarily but because he isn’t that great of a playmaker and can Clash

Because he is more of a shot Creator which is more suited for a shooting guard position a player at point guard you want to run and orchestrate an offense a little bit more and Bam has really struggled since rier has been moved to the heat to kind of fit in with

Him which isn’t the greatest look for the Heat and their culture the tweet that I originally saw on this fro from Die Hard Chicago Bulls fans saying the Bulls are the favorites to land ban manab bio if he’s traded before the deadline and that was per at clutch

Points when we look into this further I saw another tra or tweet sorry actually from Drew Star saying where will bam adab bio play after the NBA trade deadline if not the Miami Heat via bva official Chicago Bulls have even odds to land him which are very good obviously

And the Phoenix Suns Plus 300 the Raptors also plus 300 and then the Hornets plus 400 considering the heat are in seventh place in the Eastern Conference and just finalized a trade for tier roier it’s hard to imagine they let adabo go but crazier things have happened with that said if the heat

Chooses to trade at a bio odds makers have the Bulls is the betting favorite with three other teams to choose from as well via clutch points and my reasoning for a trade like this to actually go through potentially would be because he hasn’t fit the greatest with roier and

It’s going to be harder to move roer than bam if that’s something that the heat think they’re going to want to do if they keep Jimmy Butler there with Miami then it would make sense for them to try to move bam maybe for some other

Pieces and if they go ahead and try to flip Jimmy poor tier roer but he could be on a bad team once again as this Heat team does have some young players coming up and maybe they’ll look to go a different way if they don’t think they

Can make it back to the finals this season when we look at BAM actually uncrafted NBA you can see that he’s one of the better Defenders ERS in the NBA with that lock there and he’s also one of the better uh Rim protectors and rebounders in the NBA next to it he’s

About 69 but has a 73 wingspan which allows him to play the center position and only 26 years old he still has a ton of potential and is probably a finished product but if he maintains this pace for the next seven eight maybe 10 years I mean that’s a great player for any

Team to pick up we look at what he’s doing this season he’s about the same in points per game as last year at about 20 and a half so we’ll round to 21 his steals per game and blocks per game are about the same if not going up a little

Tiny bit on blocks but because of his size he isn’t one of the greatest shop blockers in the league at Center he’s actually one of the worst but he is solid at getting steals just nothing too crazy he has picked up his assists and they’re gone back to almost where they

Were in 2021 which is great to see at 4.1 a game and his rebounds are the highest they’ve ever been in his career at almost 11 we can see his free throw percentage has dipped a little bit but on much more attempts at 78% i’ definitely take that from a center and

Then we could see that he’s shooting more shots and his field goal percentage has got down but it’s still at 50% which is great he shouldn’t be a guy to shoot three he says he’s 12% on his career on very limited attempts might I had 9% so

Far this season and uh isn’t fouling near as much as he has over the past two seasons while still playing the same amount if not more than in uh 2022 when he struggled on fouls in that end and yeah only uh 2.5 fouls per game 2.5 turn turnovers very solid player obviously

One of the better centers in the NBA a double double machine now as he did have a little bit of a dip in the rebounds last year and it’s great to see him pick that up again with a 1.4 uh rebounding Boost from what he was last season when

We look into the basis of bam atabay when we look more at the advanced metrics on him however we can see that he’s having a very good year he is one of the better offensive players in the league at Center is very good but isn’t Elite necessarily the 80th percentile

For the crafted offensive plus minus we can see his true shooting just hovers around League average at the 47th percentile whenever he takes those mid-range shots it really isn’t the great look and uh he he really doesn’t finish those very often it’s really a lot of stuff around the rim lob threats

Just finishing around the bucket likes to shoot a few floaters but the mid-range when he shoots them not the greatest of looks from him he needs to hit those at a higher rate that is why the shock quality is very low at the 23r percentile and that’s honestly the

Weakest part Bam’s game is trying to create offense for himself he’s good at creating it for other people just not being able to create a shot for himself all the time we can see his free throw rates one the highest in the League this year at 96 percentile so at least he’s

Getting to the line and converting nearly 80% of those so that’s great to see out of him we can see that he doesn’t shoot barely any threes and I’m not too worried about that aspect but the offensive rebounds he’s not grabbing barely any at all he doesn’t grab those

Second Chance points for them probably has a lot to do with his size and that’s in the 35th percentile when we look at when he’s trying to create things he does turn it over lot that’s something I noticed while watching Bam play uh he really shouldn’t be dribbling near as

Often as he does he does pick up a lot of assists but maybe less dribbling would help his game a whole lot with more postup uh passes off of the postup for him would probably benefit a lot for his game when we look at the amount of

Load that he carries for Miami it’s a whole lot of it he’s pretty well the second if not third option on the team in the 82% offer load his creation is 64th percenti cuz once again he doesn’t look comfortable trying to create things and when he does it’s not the greatest

Look out there his portability is the 50th percenti so he’s exactly average if he’s going to fit on a team so that means he’d probably fit on about half the teams in the NBA and half he wouldn’t the passing uh rating is a 57 percentile so a smidge above League

Average nothing too serious although he does average uh 4.1 assists a game it’s on a pretty high usage percentage so that’s why the passive ratings low you can see deflections he doesn’t get very many for a center cuz this whole thing is just based on him compared to other

Centers in the league at the 41st percentile he doesn’t cause many turnovers on the defensive end the 25th percentile but one of the best if not the best defensive rebounders in the entire NBA at the 90th percentile pretty much all of those rebounds are coming on

The defensive end then we can look at his Rim defense very good 73rd percentile he doesn’t go there enough might have to do with the fact that he’s not as big he does also get switched onto a lot of guards I will give him that and he’s one of the best big

Switches in the entire NBA in my opinion we can see the rim frequency like I said 23rd percenti but the block percentage when he does go there 78th percenti is very big so a lot of his blocks per game we can see based on those numbers which

Is a great way that we did choose to break it down in this way because it shows that if you want to go to the rim there’s a good chance he’s going to block it above a League average rate it’s just that he’s not going there as

Often to play Rim defense we can see that the versatility on defense is not as great and they really think it is Niche based on the numbers we’ve been given at the 13th percentile and his rate to personal foul is 69th percenti one of the better in the league for

Center not fouling and overall his defense the 92% off very good one of the better defensive players that Center in the league and is probably a better perimeter offender than post offender which is an interesting build for sure out of a center that coming into the NBA

Thought was going to be a uh solid shop blocker and just really hasn’t developed into anything like that but it’s been so on the perimeter which we didn’t think was going to be uh uh necessarily a guarantee now this is a trade that I definitely think the Chicago Bulls

Should go ahead and do and it could involve LaVine if they’re looking to maybe just switch things up I have more of a speculation that it would involve maybe a Caruso D rozan Vu maybe some other pieces maybe they’d want to get some young guys in there maybe they want

Some role players like Tory craiger Javon Carter I think almost anybody could be involved in this trade I think the less likely would be Zack LaVine to the Miami Heat but a lot of other guys I could definitely see sneaking in there as Pat Riley has made some uh different

Moves and there are reports out there saying that they really don’t know what the heat are going to do come deadline and this could be a trade that’s flew under the ra radar that we covered here uh on bulls digest I hope you did enjoy the video however and I want to hear

From All of You Down Below in the comments so make sure to comment on what you felt about this trade happening and uh if the Bulls are actually going to land him that’s for sure uh is is the biggest question on the table now make
