Drawing those 2 offensive fouls against Harden definitely has to be up there. Perfectly encapsulates Smarf.
luke_workin
When he dove for the loose ball against KG and the Nets, and KG dapped him up with respect
Left hand shot against the Nets
Shoving Embiid
When he ran back thru the tunnel after his injury in the ECF against Miami and immediately hit the three from the corner
Bacondog22
Playing: The left hand celly vs the nets
Non-playing: Mazzula walking by Marcus Smart doing a somersault and saying you can’t do that and then leaving without elaboration
Vast-Cheesecake7230
Going today and will clap and yell and show him some love!
Think_fast_no_faster
Against the Nets when Donald Sloan (I had to check who it was, and then double check that Donald Sloan was a real like basketball player) rolling the ball up to save time on the clock and Smart launched himself at the fucker
I think they bailed Sloan out with a jump ball, but I remember watching that and being like, shit, he just sees opportunities that others simply do not
When Tatum had his arms around Smart and Brown after winning the ECF. May his blood, sweat and tears live forever on the Garden’s parquet floor.
Stunning-Proof-363
It was one of the games in the 2022 ECF that we lost, I can’t remember which exactly, but he seemed to have rolled his ankle, but moments later while walking to the locker room, he just came back. Then he splashed a 3.
GhostOfJiriWelsch
His return against the Bucks in the 17-18 playoffs—he’d injured his hand earlier in the year (smashing the picture frame?), the first play he made off the bench was a deflection that led to a diving steal right on his heavily wrapped hand and the crowd went fucking nuts.
PhaseEquivalent3366
Gosh, so many he was never afraid to sacrifice his body by diving for loose balls and scraping to give the team the edge. ☘️☘️
Sex_Luthor99
When he came back from punching a picture frame and on his first possession he ripped the ball from Giannis
It encapsulated everything he brought auto the table instantly after a lengthy absence
Mdeyemainer
The pump fake and pass to Tatum to win game one against the Nets. He faked the whole damn world.
Lacabloodclot9
Grizzlies fan, for us it has to be him absolutely torching the Lakers and Mavericks from 3 (the latter he did with a dislocated finger)
He puts up so many 3 pointers that have me saying ‘what the fuck is wrong wit- oh good shot’
WhiteImpDragon
His crazy steal from Kahwi Vs. Clippers

It was Kobe’s last game in the Garden, late 2015. End of the third quarter, Marcus comes flying in on a missed FT for this absurd putback dunk, crashing to the floor in the process.
He had just returned from missing 18 games due to a leg injury! He always played one way, all out and giving everything he had for the team.
2 chargers against harden with little time left as celtics have one of the greatest comebacks
bobmcadoo9088
probably the block at the end of game 7 vs raptors
CR0Don
Every dive to the floor. God I miss him

One moment that comes to mind for me is the 2018 playoffs against the Bucks. He started the series injured (from the glass in his hand) and [came back in game 5.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJtV5a4sukU&ab_channel=TomaszKordylewski). You’ve got the great Tommy/Mike call about his entrance (“He just bumped 2 people!”) and then within a minute of getting on the court he dives to the floor for a steal. The roof would have come off if Rozier had hit the 3 or Horford had gotten the tip dunk
BradWonder
The cobra steal where he just rips the ball away on fast break defense.
The-Good-Morty
My favorite memory was when he was traded
luvvdmycat
Favorite Marcus memory?
The day Brad shipped his ass to Memphis.
detsagrebbalf
So many favorite memories. Honestly could tear up thinking about them. Brad throwing him on Millsap to shut him down in the playoffs comes to mind. The harden fouls. Embiitch shove. Cobra jump to get up. His slow methodical passing that always was a step ahead. Man what a player
Sm0k3inth3tr33s
My all-time favorite Marcus Memory was that time he played for the Celtics
edz118
still feels sad without him…
Icy-Anteater-1034
Him simultaneously be able to cost us a game and do some random weird thing to win us a game at the same time somehow.
Runaway-Mango
God I hope he returns someday
contractjedi
The Harden plays are number one, but number two is the DPOY swag robe. So much personality.
tonylouis1337
My favorite Marcus moment was him hitting 11 threes to set what stands as the record for most 3s in a game by a Celtic
Smelldicks
When he randomly hit five threes in a row to beat the Raptors in the bubble
