The Raptors MUST Avoid This Trade…
The Toronto Raptors must stay away from this because Bruce Brown is a guy that has a massive trade market right now we’ve heard teams like the Lakers the Knicks the Mavericks the Denver Nuggets half the entire NBA is interested in acquiring Bruce brown but now another
Team has been added to that list in the Brooklyn Nets so we’re going to break down the latest report that reveals what the Brooklyn Nets would potentially be willing to give up to the Toronto Raptors and why the Toronto Raptors should stay away from Trading with that
Team because of some stuff that’s been going around about their asking prices in potential offers so lots of stuff to dive into this video but before we do folks again we want to keep you up to date with all the latest Toronto Raptors news and the trade deadline is just
Around the corner and over 58% of our viewers are not subscribed to the channel just yet so if you want to stay up to date with everything regarding this Toronto Raptors team definitely hit that subscribe button but let’s dive into this video because again looking at last night’s game against against
Oklahoma City Thunder Bruce Brown is the odd man out on this group and ra regardless if you’re on team tank and you want to see this team bottom out completely just tank for our giraffe pick and you know Embrace that Toronto tank 2024 or if you are of the mindset
Hey we got purle back RJ Barrett’s been really good Scotty Barnes is emerging and taking that leap taking that step despite his poor performance late in last night’s game if you think we should make a push for the plan and try to win and not uh you know lose a bunch of
Games just to get an incrementally higher chance of keeping our draft pick in a weaker year’s draft this year I mean regardless of what side of the fence you are Bruce Brown should be dealt he should be gone he should be shipped away because he’s not fitting
With our group right now apparently the Raptors can get what they’re asking for out there on the open market and teams are you know willing to give up that pick in order to bring in a guy that was a key piece a key rotational piece on a championship winning Squad last last
Season so what’s the latest report and what did the Toronto Raptors have to stay away from well uh basically Jake fiser on Mark Stein’s podcast yesterday revealed the new Suitor for Bruce Brown you know on the trade block on the trade Mill and that is the Brooklyn Nets now
The Brooklyn NS obviously are especially during the mid-2010s a big rival for the Toronto Raptors you know team I guess earlier in that as well stole away Vince Carter faced them in the playoffs uh a couple times or at least in the the bubble season and but the real
Heartbreaking one was in 2014 they’re my least favorite franchise no matter how bad they get how good they get whatever players they are I will always have a deep distaste for the Brooklyn Nets absolutely hate that franchise you know it’s the team traumatized me as a child
Stealing W Vince and all that type of stuff so I will never be rooting for the Brooklyn Nets but the Brooklyn Nets that’s not the reason why we shouldn’t deal away for uh Bruce Brown to Brooklyn to make that little reunion and things like that because the Brooklyn Nets
Areen in a weird spot right now they’re losing a lot of games but they’ve taken the approach to make some ridiculous asking prices you know out there for any of their trade sort of scenarios and inside this podcast as well from Jake fiser we’ve heard that the Brooklyn Nets
Will be very hesitant to give up firstr draft pick compensation they don’t have a lot they have the Suns picks but they don’t really have any of theirs they’re gone to the Houston Rockets for the foreseeable future so they’d be hesitant to do that but the main reason is
Because you know and I’m not trying to be hypocritical I’m not trying to criticize the Brooklyn at front office for making these sort of asks because as a Toronto Raptors fan a guy that’s been rooting for MSI Jerry and his sort of trade negotiation strategies over recent
Years it it pays sometimes to be stubborn and to wait to get that perfect deal to get that finesse to get all those types of things and potential trade packages we saw that with the OG noi deal with the Raptors got a massive hul for Emanuel quickley and RJ bar and
A sec an elite second round pick you know the Detroit Pistons second round pick for OG you know paid to sort of hold the Rope on an OG trade there less so for Pascal cakam but you know I respect the strategy from the Brooklyn Nets but they have been making some
Ridiculous sort of evaluations of their own players on the open trade market firstly with uh well obviously Bruce Browns a solid player we’ll discuss him after but the Brooklyn Nets reportedly rejected an offer for two first round picks for Dorian finny Smith Dorian Vinnie Smith is a great basketball
Player you know in terms of being a three and D guy spaces the floor does all those types of things but he is a very average sort of 3 and D dude he’s not the level of a OG an anobi or one of these guys that you’re one of the top
Upper echelon defenders in the entire mbba where he’s making all defense and things like that where he’s able to create do things on the offensive and he’s a spot up shooter he plays defense yes those types of guys are very valuable for any specific team but to
Decline two first round picks is pretty wild for Dorian viny Smith especially when your team has no real use for him given the fact that they’ve really been struggling as a I guess they don’t have their draft pick so it makes sense to hold on some some to some of their
Decent players but that Brooklyn Nets squad has looked like a complete mess here now at this point we’ve heard that they might not be able to keep Nick claxon either so you know unless again Nick claxon get off of Bruce Brown then you maybe make that deal happen with the
Brooklyn Nets but you know that’s our asking price for Dorian finy Smith there and then also another sort of update is the Brooklyn Nets reportedly received multiple offers of five first round picks for male Bridges two League sources have said the Nets have claimed multiple offers of uh five first round
Picks for Mel Bridges but I’m pretty skeptical on that front so again that’s uh that’s sort of the offers that’s come out that’s what league sources are saying one it might be a five first with swaps heavily protected picks and the offers the five first but why share that
And continue to be interested Mel Bridges yeah regardless of that true or not the sources are saying they declined that despite the fact that Nets have been struggling but the real juicy one the real juicy one out of this is the Nets say would say no to a potential Mel
Bridges trade to the Rockets even if it included their draft picks so again they’d be tanking they get all their picks back and stuff and Jaylen green alongside Jaylen green who is a very I know he’s uh been a bit inconsistent he’s younger he’s all these types of
Things people want to criticize him he has Oodles of potential out there and to go on Brooklyn Nets team where he can really flourish and you know show off what he can do and get all their first round picks back Mel Bridges I get Mel Bridges is good but he looks depressed
Down there playing for the Brooklyn Nets if there are unwilling to accept a multiple first round pick of their own draft picks and a Jaylen green for Mel Bridges I get valueing your guys High I get all that type of stuff but given the situation that they’re at it seems a
Little bit wild so again for Bruce Brown who this season’s averaging 12 points per game five rebounds three assists defensive stats are pretty solid you have a team option on him next year only 27 years old and the Nets you know in this Jake Fisher podcast fiser said that
He’s not the Nets are hesitant to give up a first they’re worried about him potenti bolting even though the team does have a team option on his contract for next season I uh I just would stay away I’d stay away from the Brooklyn Nets so far
Out of all the teams that have been rumored for Bruce Brown I don’t think the Lakers have that particular assets that we be interest and again 2029 first from La not that intrigued La just always seems to find a way to make their team decent you know they had that
Stretch there during the 2010s which was really bad but I I’m not that interested 2029 first La even though I wouldn’t be super disappointed because again that could be a trade asset in the future I’m not that interested in LA’s package the Knicks giving up Quinton Grimes and
Maybe a first intrigues me you maybe you get hardenstein you get something along those lines so the Nicks 1 team that intrigues me you know the Dallas Mavericks have some younger players we’re not getting Lively but you maybe a green in a pick or you know they’re an
Unpredictable team as well with Kyrie who’s been in and out of the lineups in recent years dealt with some injuries Luca could potentially leave all of these types of things maybe a future Dallas Mavericks pick could be cooler there’s a there’s lot of potential options the Toronto Raptors could go
Along these lines the Bucks have also been a team that’s rumored they don’t really have any draft Capital so not that intrigued by that team there I don’t know but my opinion is stay away from the Brooklyn Nets they’re a team that’s you know looking to finesse other
Squads and I guess every team is sort of of that approach of that mindset but let me know what you guys think in the comment section down below you guys the best to make this far subscribe to the channel if you guys haven’t already anyways I’m signing out cheers
In a recent report, it’s been revealed the Brooklyn Nets are interested in acquiring the Toronto Raptors’ main trade piece, Bruce Brown. However, the Nets are hesitant to meet the Raptor’s asking price and have been looking to finesse teams ahead of this year’s deadline. Ben Rogers breaks it all down.

Im pretty sure Masai is looking to fleece teams as much as possible. He wont take crap deals IMO, esp after that pascal trade.
Only way we should trade with the nets is if they included one of their two picks from this year's draft (dariq whitehead or noah clowney). Otherwise, we should trade our vets to contenders because the contenders value these kinds of players that we are trying to trade way more, meaning we have more leverage to get young players of first rounders in return.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what the raptors do before the deadline. This is the most excited I have been for a raptors trade deadline in a while
It would be the most raptors thing ever to either do nothing or trade another first to the spurs for Doug McDermott
BEN ROGERS
YOU'RE the best
PODCASTER 🔥🔥🔥
KEEP up a great WORK 💯
You still pushing narrative that the Knicks got fleeced 🤦♂️ we been 14-3 since the trade n went on a 9 game winning strike , while the raptors been struggling since the trade and thinking about tanking . I get it your a raptors media figure but please tell the truth when discussing that trade
The whole narrative about this year being a weaker draft according to 'experts' is so full of @#%. We have seen Jokic being taken as the 41st over all pick, desmond bane also in the 30s – gilbert arenas, draymond green, paul millsap etc. My point being is that nobody knew these guys would be amazing players, evident by how far low they were picked.
To automatically label this as a 'weak' draft when we dont know how these guys will perform in the NBA is total BS and as a journalist covering the NBA – should be more open to the idea that this could net a very good player for the team. Everybody thought Scottie wouldnt be a good offensive player – hes definitely a work in progress, but he has improved a lot. How are Mobley, Green, Cade doing up until now? Varied results! But they were picked ahead of Scottie.
so sick of the narrative when there is so much evidence proving the contrary in previous drafts.
Bruce brown for claxston…get'er done
Whatever happened to potentially going after Claxton for Bruce Brown? I remember a lot of people interested in seeing something like that!
like i said…
All I can say is that a trade or two or three should be made BEFORE the Hornets game. This will be a huge game. Toronto will want a depleted roster to ensure the L. I'm now on Team Develop & Tank
W consistency
Claxton
Knicks Mitchell Robinson for Bruce Brown.
Trade every body 26 and up get as much as you can, gtj could be trade for a good price if not he can stay. We need a young big could be in a trade or from the draft or both.
Tank… tastes awful- but it works… we should be 🎉 every loss! Ppl have zero patience! If we won the last game then we lose our pick!
Trade Bruce brown back to Brooklyn 😂
I think we could hear something on the Brown deal by tomorrow, atleast some info on a likely suitor.
bens favourite word "FINESSE"
We should get Dennis smith
Dude, this team is not tanking, they are just that bad right now. Perhaps tanking by default maybe, but some wants to embrace the tanking talking point to make them feel better about the team. The team and coaching are just bad right now.
I’d compare 2 firsts for DFS is similar to Memphis giving 3 for OG, it all depends on protections. Clax for brown swap sounds good to me. Every time Brown plays besides his first game, he’s lowering his value from what it was in Denver. He clearly isn’t good for this team, and Masai needs to realize can’t hold off on offers cuz he’s overvaluing an above average role player
Get Claxton! He’s a piece we need.
Can we trade Jack Armstrong, Matt Devlin, Alvin Williams and Toronto’s MSM to cities containing the Raptors Hasbeens. They’re missing those individual self-promoting snitches too much. They’re gone. Get over them.
They are getting hard to listen to. I find myself switching to opposite teams commentary.
Ben, new tank animation gets the Scottie Barnes award. We need a return of the Golden Gazoo my friend. Every game has calls for an award winner..
cheap talk again
The more we play Brown, the more his value goes down. Other than one decent game he's not been good.
Sean Marks (Brooklyn GM) is an untrustworthy individual. Ujiri and Webster would prefer not to do business with him unless it's a compelling offer and again, only if absolutely necessary.
