We are so back.
It’s gratifying to see Kuminga as our first and second option.
As it has been all season, all these guys coming off the bench, they give af.
Overall, that was a good win and it’s cool to win one with defense.
I love JK’s adjustments from the first half.
Klay’s perimeter shot selection is still so frustrating. I’m tired of it.
Found it very interesting that Gui got minutes in the 4th.
Podz gets so much out his talent
##**Jonathan Kuminga!!**
Klay only 30 minutes tonight and benched in the final stretch. Feels like the transition has started.
Jonathan Kuminga – that is all
Kuminga is our clear second option now. Incredible rise in the past month.
I was told attacking the paint would result in a significant FT’s advantage
Gui Santos, a g league player, has deservedly closed this game over Klay just by doing two things Klay doesn’t: playing HARD, and playing smart. Period. He’s also a big body, which helps.
No Klay in the clutch made a huge difference
Steph the only Warrior to make a 3 tonight and they still pull out the W!
Klay should not play over 28 minutes unless he’s scorching hot in that particular game. Even with Gp2 and Cp out. Play Moody, Lester, Gui Santos… Those guys compete every single second.
Jonathan motherfucking Kuminga
Shout out to our fellow Brazilian Gui!!!! Loved the hustle during the 4th.
Also great to see Moody back!
Kerr starting to realising people under 25 can hoop?
Ngl, Kerr cooked with this one. Gui fucking Santos in over Klay to finish the game? Damn. Klay that better wake you up.
JK with 28 pts and 10 rebounds! I knew he played well but didn’t realized how well he did
Kuminga is the 2nd option. Came up big in the 2nd half, 6 straight easy points to tie the game after the break.
Podz with his 3rd straight double-double, dude is a rebounding machine. Hopefully he find his 3ball again.
Nice to see them actually attack the paint. Didn’t always work (Claxton had 6 blocks and one attempted knock out), but they took advantage of the “easy” points they were given.
Props to Gui too, love that he got the nod to close in crunch time
GUI played great tonight by the way. I like his size and hustle a lot
Should I be happy our boy JK is getting more calls than our superstar Curry?
KUMINGA DOUBLE DOUBLE 29 PTS/10 REBOUNDS
PODZ DOUBLE DOUBLE 15 PTS 10 REBOUNDS
Winning a game in which Curry is the only Warrior to make a 3 is an interesting new look
Game is clicking for JK
Podz is the best drafted rookie we’ve seen in quite some time.
Gui has some great depth potential as he grows in the league
Curry 29
Kuminga 28
Sounds like a second option to me. Can’t even say it was a fluke or that he can’t score in different ways because the Nets did a great job adjusting to him in the second quarter and started stuffing the paint to stop him and Kuminga himself adjusted in the second half.
Klay 30mins, 0-3 in 3s but 4-9 overall. Bit better, he contained his desire for contested 3s.
Who knows how long he can contain that desire lol.
18% in overall 3pt shooting is just trash… but win is a win.
Steph-Kuminga-Podz-Dray and add Wiggs when he is back is probably our best lineup.
The problem is that we had a Rookie in our best 5-man lineup is simply telling you sth wrong with this team. No disrespect for Podz tho, but this is not a team that can go to 2nd round of playoff. We are still at least 1 key piece away from playoff.
