Standings don’t really matter to me until the teams get serious after the All Star break. That’s when the hot starts and flashes in the pan tend to settle and the perennial big dogs like Gainnis really dig their heels in.

The standings are really impossible to predict. Cavs and Knicks are on fire, both have relatively easy schedules coming up.

This has to be our team. There is no team in the Eastern conference right now as good as us. I know the regular season doesn’t matter that much but no team has looked as consistently good as us in the East. As long as we don’t get shafter by the Heat again, we have no excuses to not make the finals
