This might be why Lester is now playing over CoJo. (Aside from the fact he’s better)

Cojo by all accounts is an excellent person and teammate so should be desired by other teams who need veteran leadership and mentorship.

Makes sense. Greater positional need especially with Podz playing point minutes.

  3. Cojo had a decent stretch there for awhile, where he was taking care of the ball and playing good defense. The last couple weeks have been rough. I’m guessing that Quiñones probably didn’t look ready (ie better than Cojo’s veteran steadiness) early in the season, but has shown in practice that he’s now ready for some minutes. Another one for all those “Kerr hates young players” takes.

Lester has had a couple rough spots, but for the most part, he’s looked really good. I like the energy he brings when checkin’ his man with the ball. Excited to see both he and Gui out there.

Question is who wants this guy? All teams have seen what we have. Which isn’t much.

If we can get a second rounder for CoJo 👍

Podz would be why tbh. He is as good as could be expected.

Cojo is good bench vibes and CP insurance, but we don’t really need it right now

Also it’d be one less midget for Kerr to spam. Wannamaker over Poole all over again.

He was a great pick up for us that could of contributed more this season but because the dubs saw how podz can really contribute to winning basketball so quickly that they didn’t anticipate, they could of used that spot to get some size either a vet big or a forward.

Always follow the money. Lacob likes to save money if it’s unrelated to the core or obviously bigger pieces.

I kinda liked CoJo. But I understand and respect the move. Save that money.

Especially if Lester continues to perform on defense. I remember Kerr sub in CoJo for Steph during a late game defensive possession. Lester has shown his offensive ability, but add in defense too? He’ll start to get the nod over CoJo if he keeps it up.

There is no sense in not doing this. Lester is so clearly better and he’s YOUR guy. Someone you developed.

I’m not going to click on a Hollingrr article, but why wouldn’t they just sign him to the 15th slot? And who wants to trade for him anyways?

If he could play even high school level defense, then great. But alas, he’s quite JV. But he’s never gonna be high mins so maybe that doesn’t matter as much.

    win-win…Lester is actually playable…Cojo is a disaster
