I don’t hate Hield. We need an aggressive shooter and while he’s not good defensively, he’s not Trae Young level. He’d work well with Embiid if he can come back for the playoffs and just shoot 10 3s a game at a high clip. For the right price, I like the move.
buddy’s one carrying skill is his 3 point shooting, so you can bank on him forgetting how to shoot when he arrives in philly
Perfectly mid move. Of all the pure shooters who don’t play defense (Kispert, Kennard, Seth Curry), he has good size and measurables. It’s never translated to actual good defense on-court, but he’s not thin as a rail or anything like that. If no firsts are exchanged (doubtful), he should be a decent pickup
Hes an expiring and gets paid too much this year for most playoffs team to salary match. Hes worth 1 2nd at best.
