At this point it seems like they’re gonna rest him until after the ASG before they start any basketball activities

Wait, isn’t an arthroscopy needed to remove a bone spur?

Don’t believe the shit I say tho, cause I have no knowledge on the subject but I’ve heard that shit before. I’m scared now.

    Just looked up.

Irritation that can be alleviated by PT and worst case arthroscopic surgery.

This dude rlly came here, put on a show to get a contract, then dipped… Gotta respect the hustle

  5. thenotoriousgig

It’s was, is, and always will be…FUCK the Heat

Thibs might end up running a 7 man rotation assuming Brunson will be out next game. Arcidiacono may actually score and Fournier may get some minutes.

I’m also worried about the health of the other core guys like Donte, Hart, Hartenstein and Precious as they’ve all been playing a lot more due to injuries. I just want this team to go into the all star break without any new injuries.

Explains why we can’t just give him a cortisone shot

  8. papa8706

OG showed up to practice and Thibs told him to drop and give em’ 40+

  9. haris501

Those injuries Thibs fault? Man is playing every player 38+ every game

Hey, y’all. I can clarify. I’ve done extensive work, I’m talking tens of minutes googling “bone spurs,” and I’m fairly certain we’re fucked. One site said partial amputation.

  11. iamdanabnormal

You can play with it if you can deal with the nagging pain. In baseball, pitchers often undergo minor surgery to clean them out when the season is over. Very possible OG does the same.

Bro took the Kawhi comparisons too literally

It doesn’t sound great . But the surgery probably would be done after the season . I’m surprised no one ever mentioned the fact that og is a little shaky on the injury front

  14. Alert-Extreme1139

This is actually better news than the vague “inflammation” explanation which could involve tendons and require surgery and lengthy recovery. It’s a relief.

This is bad. Very very bad. We’re in trouble folks.

Honestly the injury gods and sports gods are holding hands and helping the Knicks out here. Teams suffer injuries every year. We got Mitch, Randle and now OG out of the way early so they can fully rest and be prime for playoffs *cope*

  17. He’s one of those players that’s always out with some sort of injury. He’s not AD level, but misses a lot of games. I guess that’s the chance we took.

  18. Fun-Opportunity-551

OG is a lock to miss 20 – 30 games every year, guaranteed. Good to get that stretch out of the way before the playoffs start.

Aren’t there physicals that are done before trades to catch this? Doesn’t seem like a random injury more like something that develops through overuse
