Stephen Curry shocked that 3-point foul was overturned π | NBA on ESPN
Chased by Springer count it and a bound three-pointer Springer was all over the play but just made some contact and Curry with a chance for a three-point play with Jon Springers he’s everywhere he’s in his shirt the step back dribble loses it momentarily which allows bringer to close out the distance but
Then step with the concentration another ridiculous shot for Steph Curry his first field goal of the night Goan State back with him four lowc scoring rough shooting start here in Philadelphia after review Springer legally contests the shot and makes legal contact once the ball is released to the hand Curry then overtly extends
His right leg leg trip Springer to the floor the play has been overturned to an offensive foul and the challenge is successful Philadelphia’s charge the timeout due to the mandatory but they have the ability for a second chall well we have quite the surprising successful challenge not only
Did Jaden Springer not commit a foul but Steph Curry kicked out his leg and is called for an offensive foul Steph’s natural shooting stroke his legs are going to go for it I I think it’s important to note and I would tell referees this all the time if I feel
Someone in my airspace I’m going to extend my leg cuz if I don’t I feel like a sprained ankle might [Applause] [Applause] have
Watch as Stephen Curry sinks a 3 and is fouled, until further review reveals that the foul was called incorrectly.

funny how they said he lost it, I saw the clip and though βwow, a nba player not traveling for once or carryingβ and the only reason why was becasue he lost itβ¦ garbage NBA
Clap the the new NBA where refs decide the games however they like making fans lose bets. Its annoying to watch
Haha ππ
These are the foul calls they were giving Harden that one season where he averaged 36? Make it make sense dude. Itβs only with Steph but scrubs or other all-stars gets the call
Is there ever a time when Curry doesn't shoot a 3 or go up for a layup that he doesn't throw himself to the ground? Shits annoying
Ridiculous!! LebRun could be called an offensive foul on every single shot he made according to this rule.
Refs got to stay consistent with those calls
That was a foul i dont know what the refrees seen.
Thatβs the wildest offensive foul Iβve ever seen. He literally slightly adjusted his foot. Not even looking at the defender
Refs tried but couldn't turn the game
wow thats not right
Shaq needs to put this call on the shaqtin the fool
If i were to look. He hit curry hand before hitting the leg. Hayys. Bad decision for calling a overturned π€¦π»ββοΈ
The ref was betting for the 76ers to win
What a suck ref
We should a petition for bs call like this. Over turn a 4 point gain to a 2 pts deficit.
the shot should count and it should be a no call, not an offensive foul.
That was a valid call tho, Steph extended his leg out to trip Springer. It was a clear foul on steph
Ref is bias, itβs hard to shoot in 3 point that you want a perfect landingβ¦ give to the ref try for himself β¦. π€π€π€
Just a question why is Philadelphia charged a timeout even when their FIRST challenge is successful?
The one saying this is an offensiv foul have never shot a ball out of a dribble move fading to the side. You might try it while a defender is crashing your landing space and after that we talk again.
HAHAHAHA SOFT NBA !
This is when the NBA needs to review the actions of the refs themselves. They need to look at these calls, and if refs continue to get them wrong, then the refs either need stop officiating games entirely, or they need to be sent to a "class," and have to pass tests to go back to officiating games.
Absolutely ridiculous call. Even if you decide it is a foul on Steph, it is after his shot. But the idea that Steph needs to keep his legs closed and not move naturally after shooting is counter-intuitive to "having a safe place to come down".
It's all speculative instead of hard facts, the rules are so opinionated and it's aggravating
Stupid refs
Good call
Lol Under Armor broke boy – The refs
curry is a dirty player.
Griffin will be called foul of his every crazy dunk according to the rule
Curry and the Warriors are hated by the league because they succeeded without buying players and championships. They built with homegrown talent and legitimate free agents who wanted to play for them. They also play the best version of basketball that has been played since the nineties, and that is not to be tolerated by the league who wants all of the traditional big name teams to dominate no matter what trash they throw on the court.
curry already on air, and going down his feet could just go forward. try shooting it with force and your feet will move forward. this is not free throw where you dont need to jump and charge your shots
I think the refs have been the worst this year.
if curry didnt jump backward when he landed then he prolly woulda got injured, he didnt have any landing space. yes he kicked his shin while shooting but u seriously cant say thats what cause the defender to fall on curry. no it was his forward momentum when trying to contest.
No matter what play is being discussed the fans will always be divided.
Half of them are dumb af thats for sure.
Refs do love taking currys 3 points
this is prob his 2nd or 3 times at least
How ridiculous is this?
Ridiculous nba officiating nothing new
This is how you know the NBA is rigged against the Warriors and I'm a Bucks fan.
This is SUCH BS its amazing hahaha
James Harden got a lot of FTs from this kind of play.
That was a reckless closeout by the defender and should have resulted in a free throw attempt for Steph Curry… It is clear the NBA officials are against this dude, the question is why? Does he threaten the legacy of their so-called golden boy!!
Thank you JJ
They made a rule where you canβt do an irregular motion during shooting and Curry does it all the time. Sadly this wasnβt one of those moments, but he needs to get called for it constantly like heβs supposed to.
