Drrozan is better then Tobi, but will have a lot of the same issues Tobi has if he plays next to Embiid.
I really don’t like the fit. Still think Dejounte Murray is the only guy (who we know for sure is actually available) that I’d be fine trading for.
If tobias is in the trade, I wouldnt be totally against, but derozan definetely is not a good fit for joel
Don’t love the fit but like us making a move, the year’s been good vibes but gotta do something if the objective is a chip (assuming Embiid comes back)

Trading for Derozan is a bad move man, the way he plays doesn’t fit with what this team needs when Joel returns

The only way this makes sense for is if if the Bulls are fine with 2nd rounders.
Or if you can get multiple additional pieces (Caruso + Drummond) for a couple of firsts.
DeRozan’s fit is questionable, but I think he makes us better. He’s a much better offensive player than Tobias Harris, despite the lack of 3 point shooting, because he’s actually an excellent ball-handler. But it’s tough to imagine an offense featuring both DeMar AND Tobias.
If you want to improve, why would you trade for DeRozan?

I’d rather have Tobias if he would have to be included in the deal. I would trust Tobias more with guarding 4’s.
I hope the idea is that a Demar+another player (ideally Drummond) trade would keep the Sixers in the playoff picture. You’re renting Derozan just to buy Embiid time to recover, because without an improvement in the talent on the roster, they’ll drop out of play-in contention
I think the DeRozan/Embiid pairing would be similar to the Butler/Embiid one. With spacing from Maxey/Melton it might just work?
