The anticipation is killing me but if we don’t do anything right now we definitely doing something in the off season

  2. None of the teams making moves are really changing their starting lineup like all our fans want. There’s just not that player out there imo that moves the needle enough. We are still a play in/6/7 type playoff team. Provided no major injuries. I just think summer we could get a franchise changing player possibly?

The fact that Murray hasn’t moved tells you everything about this deadline.

Man Buddy and DS would have been nice since their prices were so damn low

Better to do nothing than to do something stupid.

  5. I do want us to trade for some shooting or a starting point guard, but I don’t really see an obvious pickup anywhere. I’d rather do nothing than to give up stuff for a lateral move.

Even if the FO did a godfather offer for Garland, it doesn’t mean the Cavs woulda said yes. Everyone needs to realize the magic are a couple years away from being a threat in the east.
Id rather they don’t blow their load early and regret it after.

Being a fan of this team is so hard. DEDICATED to mediocrity.

Seeing so many good players get traded for peanuts and we can’t do anything.

I hope we atleast make a trade to get our soda machines stocked for a year. I don’t want Paolo paying for soda.

Can’t but think we’re gonna do nothing at the deadline and watch them spiral. Even though we have the easiest schedule remaining I never trust it. We drop too many games we should win. And win some we shouldn’t. Committed to mediocrity. If we don’t get shooting we will be 8-10 seed and no higher. Very discouraging that we sit on our hands when there’s an immediate need that needs to be addressed.

Guys we had decade or worthless first round draft picks and your worried about wasting resources? One could argue we don’t need a rookie next year. I’d give up the 24 1st rounder in a heartbeat. Same with the 25 one too.

  11. Joe Harris was just waved. He’s a career 43% 3 pt shooter. I feel like that is a pick up we could use possibly

  12. Hawks keeping Murray. I bet Trae Young is off this summer.

We are one of the few teams with cap space and dinwiddie is available… we gotta hop on that

Lol multiple teams made very good moves to improve their rosters and didn’t even give up a ton to acquire some solid players. We did nothing unless a trade is announced a few minutes past the deadline which sometimes happens. L front office. This team will remain in mediocrity. Over ten years of this shit lol.

Gutless showing by our front office.

So many players we coulda used just got flipped for expirings and 2nds, and we stood pat while teams around us got better.

Like I knew it was coming, but still frustrating.

Another wasted opportunity with Franz and Suggs’ extensions looming in the fall.

Gonna be extra annoying when we sell our 2nds for cash. Again.

It’s not even that we didn’t trade for a “star,” I don’t really want Murray who’s going to want a huge new contract, and Garland was never realistic.

It’s that we’re not doing *anything* when shooting has been our issue for a decade. We could have gotten Bogdanovic, Buddy Hield, Seth Curry, Grant Williams, or a number of other players without giving up Paolo, Franz, or Suggs.

So frustrating. We need to start getting serious about winning.
