I would love PG returning to Indy at some point. He’s got unfinished business here

Can’t outright sign him. It’s gotta be a sign and trade but even then, I don’t know if there’s salaries we have that we can send out.

Kawhi just inked an extension of 3 years for 150 million, and it’s reasonable that PG would want something relatively similar.

That’s a lot of money to match and that probably puts us over the luxury tax. I don’t see Herb “cash considerations” Simon going all in like that.

And I don’t like how that move depletes the roster

He has a very good chance of winning the chip this year, if all things go well it makes no sense for him to come

    Please no

PG13 is at a point in his career where he wants to play on a true contending team.

I’m an old, lifelong Pacers fan. I watched us play in the finals, witnessed Reggie’s battles with MJ in the 90s. Suffered through the Jim O’brien era and while I love our squad we are not a contending team. Even if we add PG13 we’d have to give up Turner, or Mathurin and that would be too big of a hit. Turner is a top 10 center in the league. You just can’t replace that. Mathurin is a young athletic wing and fits the modern NBA perfectly.

We have a punchers chance every night becuase of style of play. Over a 7 game series can we get 4 wins against the Celtics, Cavaliers, or the drastically improved Knicks when the game slows down and every one knows your tendencies?

Does adding a 34 year old often injured player change that. PG13 has not played more thn 56 games the past 5 years.

Getting rid of youth and depth is not worth it and something I don’t see our front office doing.

If you think paying that much for that 34 year old player is a good idea, I bet you also like IU basketball.

I would love PG here on a team-friendly deal eventually. I’ve always respected him and his game pre- and post-departure. He’s easily provided the most hype playoff Pacers experience in my lifetime and seems like a good dude most importantly.

Why did you think he started the podcast and magically started talking good about the Pacers in the last two years? It’s been his end game.

Why do y’all think we traded for all those expiring contracts? Pacers are going to get a third star eventually.

If we could get PG and at the same time trade away Myles it would be a double win. Get the wing we want and can stop with the crazy lineups to cover up all Myles weaknesses.

This might be unpopular opinion, I would be very sad if we traded Myles for PG. Myles been loyal, if we’re building something legit I want him to be apart of it.

  13. No way this happens. We can’t afford it and he won’t take the pay cut.

Paul George is our Cody Rhodes. Dude needs to finish the story!
