  1. If we can get a team friendly deal for him I wouldn’t mind.. he’s been huge for our young guys.

I might get downvoted to hell but I would like this lol

I’m not gonna lie 😂 I still trust AK, hopefully it’s a team friendly deal, but DeMar go sign with a contender man please 😂

if we cannot find better options why not. I like his game, he is from compton you can tell he doesnt whinge when its tough, does not demand trades, never about any org he is a professional. plus every player ever has said he is good in the lockeroom and like a mentor to them. even our youngens preach the same noise about him. gotta respect that and keep him around. Plus he DOES help Coby out, Coby needs his help too. That game especially against Minnie man they were both cooking when they needed it, they were both very clutch when it mattered

Of our vets, DeMar is the most versatile, adaptable, and most willing to take a back seat. He truly loves this team and the players. That’s a lot of value if its ~20M/yr for 3yr or less. He’s basically a coach who can own OTs.

  6. Let me step back and kill myself, Neil Funk!

As much as I hate the direction of the team Demar was my favorite NBA player besides D Rose and Jimmy growing up so I was fucking stoked to get him. If we go down atleast we do it with DeBallZach.

  8. I don’t mind it on a team friendly contract. I’m just concerned that “team friendly” is not gonna happen lol. Plenty of teams would still love his skillset and I bet would be willing to offer a 2yr/$50m or more. Too expensive imo.

    2 yrs, $15-18M/yr, $30-36M total, fully guaranteed

I am stuck in an everlooping hell

Honestly this isn’t the worst thing. Extend DeMar, we hold onto Caruso, Zach and Lonzo heal up, and then we just have to find a tear in the space-time continuum and bring back 2011 D-Rose and 1992 MJ and we have a pretty solid squad heading into next year.

  12. So 4 years of the same almost competitive basket ball ? Sign me up fuck yes

Anyone hoping for a team friendly deal needs to look at the deal Vucevic got. There was nothing team friendly about that deal.

This might finally get me to hop off the train girls and boys

The amount of people in here that are willing to extend DeRozan for more annually than Vuc lets me know we’ve been given exactly the team we deserve.

This was always what the front office was going to do. No doubt about it. We’re going into next year with the same roster if not worse

this team is over. playin team way over the tax with derozan extension they 100% will lose pat for nothing when detroit offers rookie max. should have sold derozan to make room for pat.

Demar stifles the growth of our younger players. Coby White is gonna need to gain experience with taking the final shot, but he’s never going to get that with Demar taking all of them.

If it’s a reasonable price, I don’t hate this idea of keeping Demar as a mentor for the younger guys like Igoudola on the Warriors.

If they are paying him over $20M a year at 35 years old and beyond, I am upset.

This team reminds me so much of the Ben Gordon era Bulls ugh
