Early shout out to Dean Wade’s defense early in this video. 3-and-D-Wade has been incredible this season and the team definitely knows how to play together on the defensive end of the floor.
This is great. Anybody who thinks JB isn”t a really good coach needs to at least get through the part on the “show and recover” defense. It takes a while to install that and then get the players to properly execute.

The part (7:40 in video) about the early weak-side help on drives works moreso now than ever b/c teams are coached to 3 or Key for offense. They are basically conceding some mid-range jumpers but so many players are conditioned to drive or dish in that spot, it’s playing into the hands of this defensive strategy.
