Honestly Taj probs loves these 10-days because he gets a handsome paycheck to play ball while also not having to be fully committed. He can just be semi-retired, and be with his family most of the time without the grind of practices, traveling and team meetings year round. All he has to do is chill at home and promise to keep himself in just enough shape. And then when his name gets called, he only has to do the lifestyle for little chunks at a time. Doesn’t sound too bad to me.

Taj is a great guy, veteran IQ and obviously close to Thibs.
BUT is there really no one else available that we just keep resigning him to these? Mitch, Hartenstein and Sims banged up. Feel like this role could be better filled by someone younger who could potentially become a bench piece or just a role player who needs a 2nd chance.
Even like a Hernangomez brother, John Butler (g league) or Kaminsky.
Feel like a band aid is being put on something that needs some stitches. Would love to hear thoughts from others
