While watching the spurs games it always seems to me that Devin Vassell settles for 3s, when in reality he should be driving more cause that’s where he’s most efficient.
(1st Pic) During last nights game it showed very clearly, he Was 7/7 on drives last night & 4/4 from fts on drives, scoring 19 points (2nd in points on drives last night behind Jerami grant).
He shot a total of 11/18 FGs while shooting 3/7 3PT, meaning he shot 8/11 on Non 3PT shots. Specifically when he went on that 9/9 & 23pts run in the 3rd he shot 7 2PT FG & 2 3 PT FG. In the 4th he shot 2/4 (1/3 from 3) (1/1 on drives). This game really showed me that his aggressive game is the best part of his game & should be utilized more.

He is improving a lot on driving. Needs to stop being so Kobe like (his hero) and taking the hardest shots possible but progress. If he had solid 3 shooting PG and SF next to him he could be a 23 ppg+ guy. Dillingham and Risacher could be that
Agreed. I don’t mind the 3s in the flow of the offense (when there’s is a flow) but he’s taking a lot of tough 3s that he could get at any time. After seeing those stats, I would love to see his number of drives increase too.
