Great game from Deni, Corey and Couli. All 3 had at least 20 points

I got a serious bone to pick with Keefe over those late game ATO plays. Wes was also garbage at inbounding the ball and I see the problem still has not resolved itself.

Easily one of the better games from the Wiz this season. Deni, Bilal, and Corey all did their thing and it’s great to see their growth. That’s what a rebuild is all about. Decent bounce back game from Poole (anything is a step up from last game).
Don’t really believe in moral victories but putting up 125+ against a team like that with no center available is really impressive. I think having one of the toughest 2nd half of the season schedules bodes well for them. They’ll get battered some games but playing teams like that keeps you focused and makes you better.

Fun fucking game. We need more of these. The young guys looked great. Glad Poole found some rhythm, but goddamn how do you just completely vanish in the 2nd half. Just wild. I’m liking the change to Keefe so far
Keep tanking for a weak draft class
I liked the effort (except the 3rd quarter), Bilal/Deni/Kispert should be starting the rest of the year, or at least given more minutes they played nice tonight.
For all those downvoting me for saying Poole played like ass in the 3rd, here is the play-by-by summary from NBA.com for his entire contribution during that quarter:

Post trade deadline games always hit different, even though we only traded Gaff
Are we really just going to continue giving significant minutes to 3 UFA guards instead of giving Johnny, Jared or Jules a chance to show what they have?
I know we think JD is shit, but what’s the point of having him on the roster? We don’t give him reps even in the g league. Drives me fucking nuts. Just cut him if he’s so bad that you won’t give him minutes on a 9-42 team. Sign someone to a 2 way or in the buyout market that you’ll actually play. Hell, forget JD. What about my man Jules? He’s actually balling out in the g league. No reason to not give him an opportunity. What the hell even happened to Jared butler?
It’s tough, I get it. Tyus is playing for obvious reasons — he’s one of the best players on the team. I love Delon. But he isn’t even playing good lately. He won’t be here next year. Shamet? Maybe. We have a club option, he could get us an asset in the off-season I guess and he’s still relatively young and plays hard. But all 3 of these guys? Man. I was really looking forward to watching post trade deadline, but I gotta see some development from someone that actually has a chance to be here in 2 years.
Also, I love my guy geno but can we use our 2 way spot on someone that isn’t 27?

They’ve shown more development and effort in 5 games with Keefe than near 3 years with Wes. These were the type of games I was hoping we’d see all year. At least try out there and the young guys got shots up.
Hopefully as the season goes we can shift even more to development and double digit shots for Deni, Kispert, and Bilal. Those 3 are the only ones that should matter, cause they are the only ones that would be here when they try to be a good team.
Whatever happened to Trey Jemison? I guess his ten day was up, but would have been interesting to see if could hang in the NBA.
