Game fun to win again as uh JJ is saying we have a stream again where the team actually won it has been a while you know it’s been kind of sad I don’t even remember the last game where we won and we had a show maybe it wasn’t that long
Ago but man yes the Discord is all business but Tim rolls win um I don’t actually I didn’t even think about what this does for us standings wise I’m not even really in too much about the standings right now but um I mean it’s still like
Kind of too early to care and everybody first through fourth is just like close so it doesn’t really matter I guess the Nuggets play the Lakers tonight and I don’t think OKC played or plays today yeah no so and the Clippers also don’t play also breaking news that happened
Yesterday or was this yesterday I don’t even remember it was we have acquired Monte Morris for unfortunately tbj fortunately Shake Melton and a 2030 second round pick as uh former viewer jelson said on Twitter that’s a sixth grader so um that is uh pretty amazing but um

Game I was floored from maybe the get-go uh how big we felt how enforce of we were on the defensive end how we were able to basically get to our offensive sets we were lights out uh shooting wise which really helps and really push his Tempo
And pushes uh you know kind of Good Vibes throughout the whole game I was uh floor that we just kept on building and building a lead I was waiting for some random white guy to get a career high apparently it happened but still we persevered despite that and um well it
Feels good to win man it feels really good to win honestly it kind of I I kind of want to think uh like this is the start of a new season right now like we’re z z we just won how can we build from this because the trade deadline
Happened you know all of our pants and what I don’t know what I’m saying everyone was worried about like who’s going to be moved who’s going to be shuffled we we kept the core intact no slow-mo moves rest easy he goes for his best game of the season you know for by far
Yeah like crazy good game from slow-mo well for for slow-mo I mean like Bas off expectations and we can pour one out for shake Milton and uh Troy Brown Jr they didn’t get enough of uh opportunity here and actually there’s kind of reason for that too you know like we’re we’re above
Maybe trying things right now we need to fix our own stuff um long story short though um we’ll talk about Monte Morris but um I’m here and I’m ready and I’m I’m I’m like I I hope that the team is poised for a second half season tear
Yeah yeah I think you know I’ve just gone back and forth because like after the last games lost I felt very down um as everybody in stream knows I had kind of a rough stream to get through and uh I sorry I wasn’t there no
You’re okay I mean I’m glad that only I had to do the suffering but um but no it’s uh I’ve just had such severe highs and severe lows this season and I can’t you know I think that the things that happened in the last game weren’t just
Flukes you know I mean it’s a fluke to have Kobe white shoot as well as he does but it’s not a fluke to see the timber wolves kind of lose some amount of composure on defense like that has happened and be rattled by opponent crowds um but and tonight honestly like
If we’re really trying to think of this as like a critical game like they only had to persevere through like two runs and one of those runs was when they up by 30 so like you know at with like eight minutes left so it’s it’s not so
Much of a proving because also the Bucks have not been good recently but I do think you’re right it’s it’s an opportunity to get on the right foot going into the All-Star break you know we’ve got some I mean I hesitate to say easy games but like realistically like
Two of the next four or no wait we only have three games left out of our last three games before the All-Star break two of those are Portland so like I mean that should that should be two pretty easy wins um and then obviously we play the
Clippers next week and the Clippers will be a game that you can kind of measure Yourself by assuming everybody stays healthy and they don’t load manage anybody um which also happened tonight they did not have Damen Lillard um but yeah I don’t know I this every win is a
Good win I mean we’re what are we back we’re back to 20 over 500 or something like that like it’s just it’s hard for me to be critical at times this season because it’s like man we are literally like insane um but as we all know here I

Feels like maybe we did that a couple weeks ago um but it’s really weird if you want to see it on your own it’s just our two 2023 highlights or predictions predictions um maybe maybe we’ll watch it’s kind of long but we can maybe watch
Like a couple minutes of it um at the end of the stream but we’ll see we’ll see H I thought started this game well like cat with the the driving layup um a putback you know uh Jaden with like a finger roll I think ant hit a three and
Like an aidi and goar with a putback you know like those types of plays like kind of really um fuel us right like we’re not like forcing it everything felt like it was orchestrated and in a flow and sometimes our offense doesn’t look like
There is any flow and it was was nice to see that maybe it’s partially the Bucks like what are they they’re very predictable on both sides of the ball and like Doc Rivers is in a one in one in five like downward spiral right now
And yeah even like I want to say like we shouldn’t really look at the team missing a Damen Lillard and missing a Chris Middleton which is like 40 50 points of their offense but like I didn’t like pretend that they were on the court we were getting whatever we
Wanted and Damen L is not going to stop that and Chris Middleton will probably harass ant a bit but like that’s not going to really affect him greatly we match up pretty well against this team and our size like I just want to double down on that and be like hey this size
Is a problem and we went into the Unicorn unit and we really um Extended build built out a lead and from those lineups and I I really was encouraged by what I saw rotation Wise by necessity we had like less players to play and we really got the
Most out of everyone and I think a lot of that also feels good to have like a good start and then like build off of that good start rather than like shoot poorly uh recover from a early deficit and then like try to like you know will
A team into u a lead or will a team back into the game where we see so often throughout the season an ant or a cat take over and we just see everyone else waiting with their hands in their pockets see the ball moving conle like nailing threes like probably slow- Mo’s
Best game of the season and it just couldn’t come at a better time because yeah uh trade deadline scratching her head are we gonna like push the button make more moves are we going to do more than Monte Maris is Royce O’Neal in in in Phoenix is that gonna be scary yeah
It’s gonna be really [ __ ] scary is Dallas retooling around their bigs yeah that’s gonna really impactful and so can we withstand all that in addition to not making too many moves with the core like Loop that we just need to say Hey you know all is good and all is well despite
All of these fourth quarter lap uh lapses and losses we can still persevere through these moments and uh it’s like it’s like an almost like a a double down on our bet for the season rather than yeah an all-in move of pushing more chips in by getting other pieces for shortterm
Success yeah and obviously this is something that me and Ashwin don’t really have much like inside knowledge on but like the buyout Market does seem to be the next move for us it seems because we have two roster spots I mean we played Min not in the first quarter

Those sets because their half court offense is super predicated on Damen Lillard and Chris mton which who they didn’t have right so of course they had to get like some random dude like AJ Green pop off like JJ reic or something um and really I will say like thank you

Be good and these are if you can steal some wins here you’re setting yourself up for Success when if if you have an injury if you just have like a bad stretch late in the season then you can maybe stomach that that but um this is

We’re losing to I’m never going to be going to be encourag playing down to your competition at all but the Wolves haven’t shot any blanks this year yeah um I mean I long long story short I feel like maybe 12 of our losses could have been
One could have been wins yeah and those losses against teams that were potentially even subpar are based off of like a random Doom getting hot or like our just lapses on defense in the second half or some herob ball efforts that gone a like nothing was like a last
Second effort by some other team winning it was like on us we were the reason we were the cause and poor shooting poor defensive rating um in those fourth quarters that really was like breaking me like in terms of and you were talking about severe emotion like like I was
Stressed about these types of games like you’re losing to a Kobe white and Demar de Rosen and over time that’s fine but like how we got to that point was pretty sad right and we could see all the other games that I’m just not it’s so much
Recency bias like I I’m I’m a win is ha High a loss is like Let’s Fold the franchise right but like sometimes reading through it is just there’s a lot of bad habits that were being formed um and we were doing a lot of right things
In the beginning of the season so I’m not trying to lecture here I’m just thinking like this is a good win to resolidify yes we are a great team we are a top of the West we are poised for a top four finish in the west and we’re
Going to be a menace in the postseason I don’t think any team really wants to face a seven in a seven game series because we’re gonna have so many ways to weave through like um how they plan to defend us I really do strongly believe
That and so those losses do just kind of like add up to like oh maybe there are ways that they can kind of catch us on an off night or catch us off guard by playing bigger than us and which is crazy but like we can just say no you
Can’t play bigger than us Y no yanis or Jay Crowder or Brook Lopez on the court can stop us being bigger than you and it really was great just because we outrebounded them we out hustled them we played at our at our pace and we couldn’t be stopped that’s something
That I feel like we should be very proud of um heading into um the allar I had a this is the random thought and then we’ll get into the tier list but I was thinking about this today would you rather beat every team that you’re better than almost always um and
Then you know be a little bit closer to 500 or less against like the actual good teams like the top teams or would you rather be the team that shows up and beats all the good teams but then loses more than average to the bad teams
Ah so I didn’t have an answer I don’t really have an answer I think I don’t really know uh because like I just want consistency because then I know where we are because well that’s the thing like if you if you’re beating the bad teams all the time and
Then you’re like occasionally beating the good teams I feel like you maybe have a better sense from like a coaching perspective like what do you need to do to get better but when you’re like having these moments of like oh we’re we’re going crazy against like early in
The season when we beat the Celtics you know like that’s an exciting game but then you you compare that to something like the Chicago Bulls game the other day and it’s like oh my God from a coaching perspective like how do you like how do you do this but um second
One not close so big boy you’re saying you’d rather beat the good teams and lose to some bad teams more often than average but okay well I don’t know I don’t really have a good answer to be honest but I just it was a thought that

Really have a reason to get rid of him I think he’s on like a team option next year they’ve got like their roster pretty much set although they traded Rody today which I don’t understand um and like I I like their roster the way it looks um Loki like next season I’m
Like oh man that I I’m kind of scared of them but um no to answer your question a little bit more directly I think I am comfortable with the moves that the move that we made um and would maybe want one more buyout I think if we get a buyout

Comes in he like explodes it was actually kind of refreshing to not like see him just do that and take over the game and have other people try so all right that’s those are my thoughts from the from the other others um from the G Leaguers I suppose but we’ll start yeah
We’ll start with um nil Alexander Walker seven points four assists a steal uh plus minus 20 uh he’s remarkable I uh love him I love him off the bench considerably more than starting I think because he just brings energy and he’s great when like jayen gets into file trouble or someone
Else you know like when Conley you know has established him his like time in the first quarter it’s great to have just like a new uh New Life com in from the a new spark coming in from Off the Bench he didn’t do anything that really
Wowed or surp like you know surprised me but that’s the point like he he just plays the same game every game no matter the opponent and sometimes he’ll make threes sometimes he’ll pass the rock a little bit more and I really thought his um pregame kind of shootaround
Conversation was very touching about how he was like improving his game and how he was like unsure of his role moving into the seasons in Utah and like yeah it was really cool to have that like growth uh by being traded being relied on and having like AB absolute like
Established minutes against like his BR his his cousin in the playing game and in the series against Denver and stuff like that it’s like you know pretty cool to hear um I give him an a honestly like this is a a blowout win and there’s there’s a lot to take away from this
Game I hope they take away from this game all the positives and um but yeah nck and it I’m down with it um because yeah defensively it was a big impact obviously the offense isn’t like you’re not looking at the numbers going like

Team out honestly but I we haven’t blown A team out and we’ve been like really struggling to find Rhythm offensively and we will have those moments where we find go and then we’ll we’ll have a couple plays where you know uh ant takes does those like ant take over moments
But like there wasn’t like a there’s not like a healthy splash of everything um kind of congealing into one you know one like flow uh ever like I haven’t seen it until tonight really so and maybe I missed a couple games and maybe I’m I’m not recalling the Boston game bossing
Game was ant like that was the bossing game was all ant taking over and that was incredible it’s insane it’s what I feel and like I get so excited about but like just like an allaround like not sperian game but like everyone comes to play no dramatic like
Um you know drama yeah what you’re saying yes I agree then this is like the most well-rounded game maybe of the year because you’re right everybody had unique like elements to this game you know like Town had a good game goar had a great game ant had a good game Conley
Had a good game na had a good like there’s almost no player that you can say had a bad game yeah maybe there isn’t and maybe that this this this is going to be telling on the tier list it’s based off of tonight’s performance on a a general
Scale um Kyle SLO Anderson has been absolute a zero but tonight his best game of the season and his stats don’t necessarily wow you but in 25 minutes he scored eight points had six assists had two steals you know and he started out terribly where he like bed a rebound
Yeah right he botched the rebound how do you do that but he like was 100% from the floor and that really um is good because like I think all of his shots also hit every part of the rim and it’s like as long as he’s like starting to
Feel more confident shooting that’s all we need because we need someone like that who’s not a liability because he’s also kind of like a truth Sayer with goar like he’ll pass to goar as you saw in this game right so but having him and goar it’s like there’s two non-shooters
It’s like having a Vando out there with goar that’s like not great right so um this is sl’s best game of the season so it has to be an eight I I think I agree because yeah in the very beginning after the first couple of plays it was like yikes um but
Then yeah he started hitting shots and really any points that you’re getting out of Kyle Anderson is stealing points from the other team so oh yeah um I it’s just an advantage obviously we didn’t need the six points we got from him tonight or however many eight points um
But it’s it’s like this was a good game for him and based off of our expectations it’s certainly better than what we expected I mean we were expecting him to tra be traded by now so oh I was thinking to Brandon pajamas as another player who just like popped
Off against us and like now he’s in the rotation and maybe he’s Kar from Memphis Yeah okay and and like you know it’s remarkable to see seven for eight from three for AJ Green but you know what’s really sick having NZ Reed back and like having him play so emphatically
Aggressive and like in tune and fast and I I just thought he one of his better games too like not like like based off of production but just like how he was in involved in in every step of the way I felt his presence whereas sometimes
He’s like a rescue uh like please help us save us kind of player and he plays down to like the lead you know so like we don’t see a whole lot of Naz Reed in those those games 7 points four rebounds two for four from three went to the line
A few times nothing really exciting but also that’s kind of the point like yeah we we are kind of wanting this level of production from him on a given night you’re thinking a sixth band of the Year candidates so it’s like you know the Jordan Clarkson of the league uh we
Don’t have that this year I think uh in any team and like I guess NZ Reed might be in consideration for Sixth Man of the Year let’s make it happen let’s make him yeah like let’s make him shine and I think that really BS well for our team
When he’s K when he’s clicking we have a really really um Big Unit that’s hard to stop so I give him an A too I mean this is like could be a very boring tier list I this is gonna be the best tier list we’ve maybe ever had because I I love
You know I’m I’m understanding your point that you were making earlier and yeah this was just like such a perfect all-around game I can’t get over because like there was a point in I think the third quarter where in the Discord I said okay I’m getting way too like happy
Right now I need to reel it back in because it was just it was like oh Rudy lob dunk um ant three Jaden 3 and then Nas with a dunk over somebody it was just like oh my gosh like it can’t get better than this and I’m just like sitting here laughing
Watching the game and I’m like wait a second AJ Green but no like we we really did like all around it was just it was a great game I mean I’m looking at the shooting splits and we’re like lights out all game right like and that’s such a defining quality for like momentum
Building and we shoted the fourth quarter 64% that hasn’t happened all month like or all the year really shooting well from the fourth in the fourth quarter um a lot of that is just like what we saw in the fourth quarter we saw like um bursts from um one second

Crazy mid-range game that was like in and out of his uh his bag for the season but he it’s coming back and he even had that like Bank three like he has a lot in his game and looking at nine for 20 doesn’t like excite you but it
Doesn’t need to when you are like able to take over games when you need to and he was he wasn’t really required to but he was able to stop any sort of comeback whenever he needed to I agree I don’t know terms of grade probably an A but
