this is what happens when ur game plan is built around making tough midrange shots

it’s a skill that’s more helpful in the playoffs

  2. Salty_Watermelon

This inconsistency is crazy, even for a guy that Paul George who is known to go hot and cold. Does this mean he’s going to help us win a 30 point blowout vs Detroit only to possibly shoot us out of a close game vs Minnesota?

  3. WallStreetLJM

It feels like both PG and Norm are more effective working off the catch, either shooting immediately or quickly using a screen. Idk why we don’t do it more often, especially for PG. Too many isos into highly contested jumpers.

  4. Most inconsistent star we’ve ever been forced to watch. Don’t even get me started on his turnovers.

  5. sooooo….he should have a a good game tomorrow? I’ll take it!

  6. My maths say we should sit him every two games

  7. JohnWick94

we just have to sit him every other game. Seems doable

  8. Just don’t let him decision make or dribble too much and he should be fine

  9. Nefarioussmallz

Well he hurt his groin on 1/21. Maybe you should factor that in to the equation.

It pisses me off when he keeps jacking 3’s like Tatum or DMitch when they shoot themselves into an L. Almost every time he gets close to the basket he scores or gets fouled it seems. He is better than 95% of the the association at finishing acrobatic shots. We’re just gonna have every other night jumper P until that groin feels better.

  11. Well at least he’s consistently inconsistent. Play him less when you knows he’s going to be off 🤷🏼‍♂️

I truly don’t understand why he doesn’t drive to the basket more. That’s not only where he thrives in general, but that’s how he gets warm and starts hitting jump shots. Especially with the way Kawhi and harden have been shooting, he has the ability to swing it out to them if a double comes. Pelicans game was a perfect display of why he needs to do so. Didn’t score a single point in the 2nd half, then started going to the basket in the 3rd and his shots (somewhat) started falling.

I mean he’s dealing with and playing threw I believe a quad injury

Though something I find funny is PG was killing it for a hot minute while Kawhi was in a slump and now that it’s reversed the PG “hate” comes in full effect.

His health has def been a factor. I think following the all star break, he’ll be back to what we’re used to. This has been a really tough stretch for him tho.

Title should be PG’s FG% amidst groin and knee injuries

  16. Swingman23

This is just who PG is and has always been. He’s hot one day, then cold the next. Just gotta ride the highs and live with the lows, he’s not gonna have that Kawhi level of consistency but most players don’t

  17. Lainahfan

PG has had injuries and the road schedule was definitely rough. I think he’ll absolutely get out of this slump. Kawhi didn’t have as major of a slump as George, but early on, he definitely was slow, so I’m confident this is will pass.

Ugh, this illustrates his ability a little too clearly. He’s one of my favourite players, always has been, but I just don’t trust him like that. I really don’t know how he made it to all star, would’ve been so good if he got some rest.
