    Will Exum ever play again?

Hopefully he’ll be good once ASB ends. It’ll be massive to have a fully healthy squad after a full break

  2. This is starting to be worrying. I hope it’s not season ending and Mavs being coy about it. The new medical staff do take their time though.

I’m hoping that soreness is better than what he had before, bursitis(?), so maybe a medical upgrade? Either way he’ll probably be back after the ASB.

Why rush him whenever we finally have so much depth. You don’t want to keep aggravating a lingering nagging injury like that

Does this have anything to do with the injury that plagued him during his first stint in the league?

He has bursitis from what I read, I had it as a kid it’s an inflammation in the inner part of the knee. It took me weeks to recover.

I thought he had a heel contusion like Kyrie had? Did he return from that and I don’t even remember it and then he got hurt again?

Just let him sit until after the AllStar break.

Exum and Maxi need to be treated with kid gloves.

Probably taking it safe, he’ll likely be back after all-star break.

Better than Bursitis. I’m fine with sitting him until after the break so that he can get back to 100%. We have the depth and easy matchups, so we don’t need to rush him out and aggravate the knee before that Suns game.

this is the reason why id love to have dinwiddie on the team, another ball handler off the bench wouldve been nice

Physio here, pre patellar bursitis can take 2-4 weeks. However, I think his downstream running mechanics have likely been dysfunctional secondary to his plantar fasciitis, which is fairly common to affect knees, hips, and back up the chain. Add to the fact he’s likely going through active recovery drills and not completely resting his knee.

Other possibilities include some kind of joint infection, in which case we’re fucked.
