People we are back once again yet again to the world’s most famous stream to witness the New York nicker boers pick up a victory hopefully the start of a new winning streak tonight against the lowly lowly lowly Memphis Grizzlies where 13 of their 15 players are on the injury

Reserve list the IR uh that is is uh might be a new record around the league they’ve got more injured players than was previously allowed players on the roster back in the day if you guys didn’t know back in the day instead of having 15 players on the roster you had 12

Um uh now because of two-way contracts um uh and whatnot you have 15 players on the roster uh the roster was expanded a couple of years ago and the the Memphis Grizzlies this year have somehow managed to rack up more injuries uh than available players

Anyway uh I say all of that to say that this should be a very easy win I had to break out the RO there early early early early tonight uh needless to say that the only excitement that I have tonight about tonight’s game is that uh hopefully the Knicks just pick

Up a win that’s that’s it uh JB jayen Brunson will be playing Dante Deon chinzo will be playing if you guys didn’t know um ojan and Obi is ruled out once again Quinton Grimes is ruled out once again again obviously Mitchell Robinson and Julius Randle both remain

Out although we do have some updates on on a lot of these guys uh but if you didn’t know also Jericho Sims has been ruled out tonight with an illness so the Knicks who were already short-handed will lose one of the seven players that Tom tibo trusted to play so expect

Expect some Taj Gibson tonight old man Taj will make his appearance tonight is uh should be a formality I want to say but this Memphis Grizzlies team can be pesky they can be pretty feisty and uh I need uh I need the Knicks to not play around I need Brunson

The last time we played him we didn’t have Brunson so tonight I’m expecting JB to just kind of dominate the game in a way that Randle didn’t the last time uh when JB didn’t play we had Randle and Rando didn’t necessarily dominate that game so

Be re-evaluated in 8 to 10 weeks he has been somewhat re-evaluated lately he will to Tom Tibido he will be going through onc Court activities after the All-Star break so we could be seeing Mitchell Robinson either by the end of the month or at some point in March which

Is we get my man big Mitch back just in time for the final push in the regular season um hold on hold on we might we might could be doing some things because obviously Julius Randle will also be around that point be making his way back

To the roster that’s around the 2 to three week Mark that he was also listed as to be re-evaluated so hold on both him and Mitch both uh Randle and Mitchell Robinson both both could be starting to to ramp up and and get ready for uh uh

Their comebacks around the same time as far as Quint Grimes and ogan and Obi uh quen Grimes hyperextended knee according to Tom Tibido he’s doing just fine it just takes a couple days uh according to him it takes a couple of days for that

To sort of you just need to rest it you just need to rest it you can’t play on it or else you make it worse um all of that so he’s just been out resting it uh as far as OG and anobi Tom Tibido said he’s he’s progressing very well he’s

Getting much healthier um everyone feels pretty good about where o ogj and anobi is currently at in terms of his progression and that he’s still listed his dayto day and when he’s healthy and when he’s the the the medical staff and trainers allow him to to play Tomo said

He will play and I I guess we just have to take his word for that I would like to see OG anobi play again before the All-Star break that would be nice that would be nice I would like to see a lot of these guys play before the All-Star

Break but my main concerns are with ogj and andovi and qu Grimes because they’re the closest to players to returning and it would just be nice to get some help on this team for Jaylen Brunson who feels like he’s he’s wearing down a little bit he’s taking on such a heavy

Load so would be nice as far as the grizzly starting lineup they have Jacob Gillard John conchar Vince Williams Jr who’s been pretty good Trey jemson and Santi Alama couple of like players I know I know Vince Williams he’s having a very good year I know John contar he’s a

Good shooter and I know Santi Alama who’s also a good shooter and a pretty decent Defender Keenan G what’s up Keenan time to worry about OG very quiet on that front um I wouldn’t be worried elbow inflammation on his shooting elbow if you put him back out there it’s just

Going to get worse over time might as well hold him out until he’s 100% I think he’s fine it’s just annoying is what it is and I know as fans we all are concerned because it’s like we want to see him out there but you know better to
