[Stein] Two mystery teams believe that LeBron James would consider signing with them if they were to draft Bronny James,

>“I know of at least two teams on the NBA map that believe LeBron James would consider signing with them at far less than $51.4 million if Bronny James is on the roster. There might be more.”

The article you linked is about Trae Young

If Bronny wants any chance at a productive NBA career, he should stay in college to develop. Dude is clearly not ready to be a NBA player. Based on playing abillity, right now he wouldn’t even deserve to sit on the bench of a NBA roster.

Being drafted and not even being the main asset from the pick would be a terrible feeling.

The Cory Joseph trade netting the Warriors a 2024 second rounder boutta be an all timer.

If LeBron really wants to challenge Jordan’s legacy, he needs to have two mediocre years in DC and draft this generation’s Keane Brown

This is taking helicopter parenting to a whole new level.

Lebron still has a few more years left in his tank.

If he gambles to join non contender team next year even tho hes still good just for his son thats clearly not ready for NBA right now, its a bad idea, lose lose lose situation for all parties involved.

If LeBron actually wants to make use of his last year or so, he should just go full out ring chase mode and take a big pay cut.

Then just have Bronny declare for the draft and threaten that he’ll only play for a certain team in the second round.

Needs to be a west coast team and a contender. Lebron isn’t moving far from home. My hot take: Warriors and or Suns.

Besides Lebron’s dream has always been to play with KD and/or Steph.

  10. If his name was Bryan Jones instead of Bronny James he would have been a 3* prospect playing at a school no one ever heard of. He’s not even close to being good enough to be in the fringes of the NBA radar.

Why does he have to leave early? LBJ seems capable of playing another 3 years.

Just gonna say there’s one team in particular that is VERY pro nepotism…

LeBron will try to orchestrate his son going to the Lakers somehow. He’d rather stay in LA.

I dont see why a team would want to do this tbh. It seems likely that Bronny James is not going to be a rotation level NBA talent in the near future. I could see potential problems arising if Lebron tries to force the team to give Bronny minutes as a condition to signing a contract. Could lead to a lot of drama and potentially hamper the team

Would be worth it for any team.

Bronny doesn’t appear to be a generational draft pick. OK. I get it.

Instead of Bronny, let’s say the pick is instead a 17th year senior from Wisconsin. Won’t get a ton of minutes. Maybe no serious minutes. With that pick comes with LeBron James.

    A net positive.

I think 3 realistic teams would be Warriors, Knicks and Philly.

Warriors and Knicks would require LeBron to sign the minimum instead of the max with us (a 50 million dollar sacrifice or more if we offer LeBron even more years). Additionally GSW doesn’t have their own pick this year and the Knicks are going to have a better record/worse pick than us so we could draft Bronny before

  17. NandoDeColonoscopy

LeBron is not good enough at this point of his career to take up two roster spots.

This is the weirdest open display of nepotism I’ve ever seen in professional sports.

At that point in time I don’t see the money being a concern where LBJ would probably even sign for minimum but it’s about the team and their ability to do something. If he’s drafted to a team that’s realistically only going to win 20-30 games, maybe not…but let it be a team that’s already a 40 win team then I think that’s a no brainer for him.

NY Knicks, NJ Nets and Chicago Bulls.
