Doc Rivers is the best coach ever
I give all the credit to the Bucks because they played with amazing energy and I think this is the signature win that they needed after a shaky start to the Doc Rivers tenure. The overall defensive activity and engagement was the best they had all season. As for Denver I think this is a big reminder of how much Jokic actively carries this Denver roster because the moment he sat the Bucks got a double digit lead and the game was over. Despite all that Jokic was still good 29-12-8 and if he had any help the game could have been different.
I have to give Doc his due credit…that defense was 🔥 🔥

That stretch to close out the first through the middle of the 2nd quarter with Connaughton, AJ Green, Pat Bev, Giannis and Bobby on the floor turned the tide coughing up turnover after turn over and converting them into scores. Usually the last handful of games before the all star break are a great chance for some teams to get wins when other teams are thinking about Cancun. The Nuggets for the first time in the Jokic era are that 1-2-3 Cancun team thinking about the beach. Literally nobody even showed for the Nuggets other than Jokic. Other than garbage time in the fourth quarter tonight the Nuggets were outscored in the previous 7 quarters 226-169. Never thought I'd see this kind of thing. Wow.
