It’s tough the week before the All-Star break too teams are looking at that Allstar break they’re ready to get there ready to have a couple days off and then get back into practice in the routine of the last season when you can go in Beat the opponents you’re supposed to beat

And I think I love the what Milwaukee does because they still trying to figure out things with a new coaching sty yeah they’re trying to find an identity in the middle of the Season which is very tough to do bringing in all of Doc’s you know terminology his schemes and trying

To learn that on on the fly without a lot of practice you can tell that they’re struggling a little bit especially on the defensive end they’re bringing in Pat Bev who’s going to try to draw plays up and and help on you know some of those things but as a team

They just got to grow and try to figure it out as as a unit yeah right now they’re sitting at third in the Eastern Conference they’re trying to inch their way back up there Dev you mentioned practice you talking about practice talking about practice that’s what Doc Rivers talked about earlier take a

Listen they bought in toward the defense they know they don’t have it yet uh but they they’ve completely bought into it they they love what we’re trying to do um they you know it’s an interesting group very keep using the word grownups um they want to be coached they

Want to they want to be told um you know at the other night um after the Minnesota game you know film wasn’t fun I can tell you that our talk after the next morning was not one of their better mornings uh but it wasn’t like I was

Bobby night I mean I was just being honest and you know they want you to be honest and and be held accountable uh and you can see the energy the next night defensively that was probably our best defensive night of the year um I think we got over 80 uh percent of all

Veteran he brings that tenacity on the defensive side he’s physical he kind of mucks it up I mean adding a guy like that even though he’s probably not going to be playing a ton of minutes it can only get better right well it definitely helps I mean when he plays yes but also

In practice here’s another guy who not afraid to open his mouth and make you accountable I think that’s going to help he he’ll be one of those guys that be irritant that make guys just come out there and play hard and I think he was a good pickup from that standpoint and

Also knocking down shots would be great but it’s more to what Devin said you got to learn the terminology doc philosophy and I think also let’s just be honest this team is not that good defensively as they was when they had Drew holiday so it’s going to take some time and

People are taking but all we all know you can come up with some schemes and you got to give that effort I think the one thing for them is they didn’t have a lot of accountability on the defensive end they’re starting to get it and they

Will get it with Doc Rivers yeah where do you feel like they can improve most defens not a lot of accountability but not a lot of trust you know defense is all about trust if I get beat who’s going to be there to help me next and

Vice versa and goes down the line when you don’t have that guys start to lose interest in it and just worry about scoring so you know obviously starts with Giannis you know starts with Brooke and those guys got to be held accountable and you got to build trust
