  1. Mental Health struggles are hell. Don’t know what Demar is dealing with obviously but as someone who battles with Anxiety, Depression, OCD…it can be debilitating, and I empathize.

    Hope the best for him.

It’s a depressing time pf year. I plan a trip every February, knowing I’ll be going through a depression. Even with his millions, he isn’t able to.

Demar gotta be in a tough spot in his career, and the window to win a title is closing on him.

he saw his original team and his best friend win a chip after he got traded, went to San Antonio to a team that was about to rebuild, and now stuck in Chicago with an unserious, play-in team. Lonzo Ball coming back next year at $20m, and Caruso needs a new deal, as he’s got a non guaranteed $10m contract.

Demar didn’t get moved to a contender at the deadline, and saw his boy Kyle go to a top team. now, he’s gotta play out the season in Chicago, and then he’s a UFA this off-season. the big question to ask, is if there is a market for a $30m+/yr, 35 year old guard with a mid-3PT shot.

  6. Bros just like me fr. Wishing him the best.

Depression & Anxiety are a real mf

Why did he use the 20th when today is the 13th?

This is probably a plug about a program or event 😂

It looks like he’s launching some kind of initiative or maybe a charity for mens mental health? Im just guessing here but there’s probably a reason why he has Feb 20th, 2024 as the date. Not saying he isn’t having his battles either but looks like he’s about to spark some kind of discussion for mental health or men’s mental health in a week from now

Sucks big time. I’m with him on that. I just lost my dad yesterday to heart failure. Currently packing to fly out to Ontario tomorrow.

I think he is not in a really dark place right based off of this post. I think it’s more likely that he is releasing a documentary about his choice to raise public awareness of athlete’s mental health on the 20th.

Saddest part about mental health is that each case is unique to that person. It’s not like a common cold where a couple of Advils can fix it. Everyone is going through their own battle and their own struggle. It’s impossible to know what they are going through or how they are feeling. Best we can do is support them, and while it’s difficult to know how to support people that are dealing with mental health, the best possible thing you can do is just check up on them. Even if you think you’re annoying, still check up on them. Even if it’s a txt that they might not reply to. They aren’t being rude, they are just fighting through this struggle and having a hard time to reply back, but believe me they care about that text and will remember it. Keep txting them. Be annoying. Check up on them.
