  1. Our 6-2 start wasn’t an aberration, no matter how much everyone wanted to insist that it was. A reminder of who those were against – we beat the Kings twice, Rockets, Pels, OKC, and Pistons (5 of 6 on the road). The two losses were our season opener vs the Suns during which Steph was whistled to the bench super early and often in, and the Cavs.

We’ve had just 7 full games (not including the Cavs game Dray was erroneously ejected in halfway through, the Minny game he and Klay were ejected from 90 seconds in, and the Kings game both CP and GPII were injured in and didn’t play in full) with all 3 of CP (who makes our bench the best bench in the league), Dray, and GPII, our two best defenders. 6 of those 7 games made up 5-1 of our 6-2 start to the season, the other was a 6 pt loss to Minny that had some BS officiating.

Being at full health and factoring in who has and has not been playing when assessing the strength of a team over a particularly rough stretch and when deciding whether or not they’re done for seems to only be reserved for the other 29 teams in the league. The majority in this sub evennhave refused to hear anything to contrary. It’s wild lol

  2. ArtfulLying

Buncha sorry teams on that list. Let’s not forget the first 40ish games

  3. Iloveshortwomen

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. They are still 1 game above 500.

  4. zdachmann

Yes, because I think the defense is for real

  5. Poloisround

I think they are, great to see 3 other guys besides curry scoring highest. Also, the last three loses they’ve had were 2 overtime and 1 buzzer beater. So the game could’ve gone our way

comes down to the defense. getting dray and young glove back helps there but can they sustain it the rest of the way? will jk consistently be the second option every night (it’s trending that way) and if one of klay/wiggs can give 15-20 every other night then yeah id be real optimistic. either way the west is gonna be a grinder

  7. jbvann05

Clippers game is going to be a huge test, let’s see if we can keep this streak rolling

  8. Injured sixers

    Injured grizzlies

    Mid nets

    Injured sixers

    Mid pacers

Good suns that it took a miracle to beat

      Mid jazz

Not exactly top quality competition in this stretch. Tomorrow against the clippers will be a good test, although a bit less so now with no leonard

  9. Creeping_behind_u

Let’s see how we do vs the best team in the nba tomorrow

  10. ImperialTiger3

As long as we stay healthy. Dray makes this shit run.

  11. 100% back.

3rd-ranked offense and 1st-ranked defense in the league during this 7-1 stretch. The new Steph/Podz/Dray/Wigs/JK lineup has the highest net rating in the entire league. Team getting healthy again. Vibes sky high.

We morphed from a lottery team to championship contender in the blink of an eye and it’s beautiful to watch.

  12. NePHiliM_06

Yes. We are so gonna be shampionship now babeh !!

  13. Redditforever12

Did well vs indiana and PHX but only possible title contender is PHX given their star power. Need to win more games vs clippers/nuggets/Bos/and bucks.

  14. Rsardinia

That L with the Curry 60 piece still pisses me off so much

  15. withurwife

We never left. This team was so unlucky with all of the setbacks, the death of a coach and all of those 1 point losses.

    r/nba getting nervous

  16. Wasntmyproudest

After that Superbowl blunder, the warriors better be back

  17. denverbroncoharpman

They looking good for sure. Keep that momentum

  18. mathmage

You can only beat the teams in front of you, and that they’ve been doing so is a welcome sight. It now falls to them to keep that energy against the tough opponents. (This is basically what I said after the start of the 21-22 season, too.)

  19. redonkulus

All those teams except for two are trash lol

  20. Dabanks9000

We have the clippers next. If we beat them then maybe

  21. CulturalRoll

Yes because of the following reasons:

    * GP2 and Dray have come back. GP2 is a fucking NIGHTMARE on defense

    * Steph got his groove back after a shaky DEC/JAN

    * Klay has been put on a leash

    * Kuminga has been taking a huge step forward and have provided the Warriors a scoring threat primarily at the basket, which they’ve never had

    * The young boys have played amazing. Podz especially

  22. aFishintheLake

Let’s get a couple of wins above .500 first before we get cocky
