Barring 2 games where giannis played 5 minutes, and 9 minutes respectively, it’s been since APRIL 11 2018 since giannis HASN’T shot a SINGLE free throw in a regular season game. Soo almost 7 years since. Not that it’s the only reason the bucks lost, but just a very interesting fact.

I didn’t bother watching more than a few minutes, seeing how it was going. I guess nobody was playing for the win tonight.
This will get lost in the shuffle or written off as “blaming the refs is lame”, but honestly, anytime Giannis is officiated like this, we lose. Plain and simple. It’s not like he is passive either, the guy ALWAYS attacks the basket. For him to not shoot a free throw in a game where he was quadruple teamed driving into the paint is absurd in my mind. I’m not saying he needs 15FTA a game but cmon? Not even one against essentially a lineup of half backups? Yeah, right….
Put my tinfoil hat on and it’s because the other refs didn’t like Giannis getting away with whipping a ref with a towel
