KELLY OLYNYK IS A GOOD MOVE, WE NEEDED A CENTER..
There we go hey there’s always a silver lining no matter the situation ladies and gentlemen we got another Center Kelly o lenck he’s coming home he gets to team up with RJ Barrett beautiful we need another Center coming off the bench a veteran mature NBA player who’s
Productive he doesn’t have to give us any excitement he just has to be consistently productive and be a veteran we need that at the center position we need that and he could pass he could rebound he he could do enough of everything to make sense of the the the
Darko offense some things that yak can’t really do so it’s a good contrast in styles of play they both give us something you know what I mean maybe Kelly ends up being the starter and Yak comes off the bench but either way we got stability until we really figure out
What the next move is as far as you know gravitating towards the center more more who in in line with the future of what the offense and what the next level of the Raptors basketball is supposed to be I I Believe Christian Koko was more of an approximation of
What the future could be but hey having Kelly OIC and having uh Yak is a good is a good stable bridge over trouble Waters at the center position until we figure out what we’re trying to do at least we know they can hold down to Fort they can
Hold down to Fort it’s different when you when you have and he’s by himself yaka perto by himself knowing that he doesn’t have support is a different player than when he knows he has a valuable cner coming in to spare him so he can grab a couple
Minutes of rest he doesn’t have to overexert himself he can Pace himself a little differently I think we’re going to get a more productive yaka perto I I I like Yak y’all know y’all know I like yaka perto so I’m it’s always gonna be a
Good thing for me to have him on this team and then Kelly oen who’s a more advanced futuristic version of the yako perto archetype can do a little bit more of what the future entails and then this will be something that holds us down until we find you know I want Zack I’m
Just going to tell y right now I want Zach I know a lot of y’all like yo he’s too slow he’s he’s 74 seven you can’t teach 74 big boded hey we have marcusa we hey come on now I’m just this is an opportunity to really it buys us
Some time to find the right next two centers I like Zach I mean maybe he might not fit our team and where we trying to go okay no problem but hey let’s find let’s find something because we we don’t have a lot of time with Kelly oen who’s 32 and with yaka perto
You know what I mean they don’t have a lot of time as things begin to evolve they’re going to fall to the way side as well so before it gets chaotic and the drama starts and the conflicting conversation start just as a thought understand that this is an opportunity
To really find what we looking for within a nice little time frame to do it while getting production at the center position from both as expected you know what I mean and I like that I like the fact that this is a problem that we solve we we we’re not going to
Always have a Allstar solution all NBA solution for problems but listen a solution is a solution we going to make the best of the situation in our circumstances as long as we can remain in attack mode and accept the battles on the battlefield and hold our own
Realistically we’re going to be fine I don’t see either one of those guys being a liability you know what I mean they’re just not we’ve seen so many great power forers and Sinners and you know guys from kg the Tim Duncan the David Robinson the some of us seen Kareem and
All like so we we’re comparing them to the greats that we’ve seen But then there’s always the Luke longle and you know those type of guys who hold down the fort well enough to get you to the next level and these guys are cut in
That cloth and I think we’re going to be fine at from that vantage point now the pressure is going to be on the perimeter players that we have left to show up and perform every night cuz I know for a fact the two centers that we have are
Going to perform the pressure is going to be on the perimeter players to really you know exercise a lot of their skill sets and talents to put us in a position to win I think I like this better I like this better we needed to make this move
We needed a center and I and I felt like Kelly oen would be the right fit because it’s it’s not a lot of pressure for him coming in he knows how to do his job he knows how to start or come off the bench and he also knows how to be
Productive passing the basketball as well as hitting the open shot from time to time grab rebounds very versatile Center you know what I mean and and he also he plays with a certain level of integrity and professionalism so there’s no real drop off it’s not like we’re
Getting an immature guy who who has potential we’re getting a veteran who has good character who makes good decisions on the on the court and it’s just you know time for him to move on from the Jazz it’s not like he’s not a productive player it’s just every at
Times you got to go in another Direction I’m confident he’s going to be productive with us you know what I mean I’m happy that we got him I I wanted us to get him I wanted us to get him or somebody better at the least get him
Don’t just get any nobody hoping it’s going to work give us somebody who’s who who knows how to play and he knows how to play if you if you wasn’t going to get him you could you got to get us somebody better it has to be a better
Decision it can’t be worse than that you know what I mean he’s he’s he’s he gives us exactly what we need and the perfect approximation the perfect measure of it you know what I mean so and and when and we don’t have to invest a lot of money
We don’t have to put a lot of time in his development he’s a professional that knows his job he understands the assignment so we don’t have a lot of babying and cuddling and he he he he knows how to play basketball and he’s reason he’s reasonable and his reasoning
For making decisions is that of an an adult mature professional that’s all we need right now we need mature basketball players who play From a Certain vantage point if you’re going to surround Scotty with anything it has to be maturity and production cuz he has a lot to learn and
We can’t have a lot of young players running around who can’t deal with the responsibility or not have enough veterans around to either protect players or explain to players what the situation really is and what it calls for from a character standpoint and from a basketball production and in some
Cases preparation standpoint I understand the coaching staff is their job to do that and we’re confident in them doing that but sometimes you need someone involved in the fight with you you know what I mean to give you advice Sometimes the best advice you can get is
From another Soldier and Al it’s not a lot of risk I see a lot of reward and not a lot of risk this is a lowrisk high reward situation if there ever was one I this was a great decision this was a great this was a you know what it was
Solid and the young man that they got also I think he’s going to be the steel so I I wanted to do I got to do a separate video on him but I believe he’s a steel I watched some of his highlights I’m like okay I see what that is I I I
Definitely see I definitely see the potential now OSI has potential OSI has potential strong build can shoot can attack the basket can finish strong at the yeah I you already know what I’m thinking as far as replacement I know I know who he’s going to replace but he’s
He’s gonna start out coming off the bench but yeah we we the writing’s on the wall the writing’s on the wall I know I we all know who the replace who he’s replacing that’s a fact but uh I I want to talk about him separately you
Know what I mean and and and give him his just do cuz I’ve seen some I’ve seen some things that I liked his game that that’ll be beneficial and it’ll be a good like he he fits in well with quickley and RJ he fits really well with
Those two ball players they you I don’t know this kid might end up in the starting lineup with those two he’ll come on he’ll play the two guard RJ’s the three you know I mean Scotty at the four quickly at the one and um Yak or um
You know Kelly at the at the at the center’s position until we you know figure out you know what the next move is with with the center position within the next 2 3 years but I believe this retooling is going to be a year and a
Half in the making I think this is that the first two trades OG trade up until the next year and a half around this time next year maybe a little further down into the summertime we we we should have a um everything should be a lot
More solidified but um it’s going to be I’m with the long haul I think it’s going to be a great one I think this is a this was a very important pickup very important you know you got the Olympics coming up I think it’s good for the fan base to
Have two players from Toronto you know on the team you know I mean I’ve always felt like every team should have at least one or two people from that place from that state on the team like I’m a New Yorker I loved it when Mark Jackson
And Anthony Mason and you know and and Rod Strickland and you know all these other guys from New York played on the Knicks I loved it I loved it there’s nothing like seeing you know people who are from where you from playing for the team that that that that’s representing
The city that you’re in whe whether you’re a fan of the city or not but um that’s cool for the culture of basketball you know what I mean it’s necessary it’s definitely necessary it’s good for business and I think I think it’s going to be good for basketball on
The court for this team we just got to see how you know what what how the other how the other decisions are going to be done what the what the other decisions are going to look like CU I know this ain’t it I know this ain’t it it’s
[ย __ย ] 11 o’clock they made that decision and I already had two videos done on top of I got to put this appeal in you know with YouTube to get my thing back right it’s gonna work itself out one way or the other that’s why I’m
Trying not to make a big thing of it but um it’s going to work itself out one way or another you know what I mean there will be finality to it that’s for sure but um it’s going to take time but I’m going still be putting out this work
Either way so tell me what you think about this kol linic it’s what hey I predicted it this is what I wanted it’s perfect it’s a perfect fit I’m out of here peace that

At 6โ11 u canโt go wrong.
Masai cooking today.
we just received dinwiddie too
Ayooo OG Chev, Masai Definitely Listening To Your Content & No Doubt About That! ๐ฏ
Dont Forget To Let Us Know Other Forms To Support! Im A Support As Well Fasho!
I don't get it. Spending 2 first round picks from one draft on veterans who play the same position?
No complaints.
Masai did well, we got Kelly Ochai, and Spencer Dinwiddie. Spencer is a big guard, good defender and shooter, another professional who knows how to play.
Youtube employees must be Philly fans.
Spencer Dinwiddie waived! ๐
Chev called it
Always loved his play, really happy with this pickup.
We just missing Shai.. for the Canadian connection
Once again Chev makes a prediction that comes through.
Chev is with me in Europe!!!!๐๐จ๐ฆ
You called it Chev about the Raps getting Olynyk.
OCHAI + IQ as the backcourt THATS A GOOD future defensive starting 1-2 guard combo
Good pickup. We got our stretch 5.
Ochai is great defensively, he can guard 1 threw 3 with ease and his offensive game is still developing, hes gonna be a solid 2 way guy for us for years
Yessir! My brutha, Chev!! Bless up, king! The Tube needs ya. Even though they trying, hard. Jus know you're respected, my brutha.
And, yessirskiiiii, we got better, flexibility. 2 Kansas Kids (Dick & Ochai) creating chemistry and confidence, along with what RJ/Quick have. We got better. We about to see some exciting Young Gunz team, now. Fast and quick. 2 seasons, and we making noise and causing problems.
its not just we got useable good players, we got them in exchange for pieces we dont need or we dont even use with our line up.
kelly is from BC
FA will complete the plan. Masai I trust. Soft tanking and reload for next season.
Are we building a canadian army in Toronto? ๐
was prayin for his move
love the pick up. think he will give bench units real stability. there's a lot of young and developing pieces that have to learn their role and kelly can certainly help guide them with that. he will bring a calm amongst all the chaos.
edit: not to mention we basically got him for a 1st round pick. Kira and Otto were collateral pieces we didn't care for going forward.
I was thinking about you first, Chev when we got Olynyk because I remembered you mentioned him in a previous video. I love the move because we needed another center or stretch big behind Poeltl. I always wanted Olynynk to be a Raptor once in his career being from Canada. We still get him on th etail end of his prime, so I love the move. I wasn't expecting us to get Agbaji as well as I know a lot of people are high on his potential. We basically used our draft pick on him as we probably weren't going to get anybody who was better than him with that pick. I was surprised Utah gave up Fontecchio to Detroit, who I would've loved to had been included in this deal. He's not a younger player, but he's dead in his prime and a really good defender and can shoot the 3. I'm really happy we got Agbaji though as that's a steal for me. Getting Dennis out of here is a plus too. I love Schroder, but he's not a good fit once we decided to go young as he takes shots away from the rest of the young players. Dennis fitted better if we had FVV and he was Freddy's backup point guard. I think they kept Brown to trade him in the summer or at the draft, or maybe Masai thinks we can still get in the play in which is possible because we're only 4 games out. Love the moves today that Masai made.
Thank you Chev for mentioning Zach Edey, we need that kid, any Raptors fan who don't want the hometown boy, don't know anything about basketball and I just can't respect you at all. Any NBA team can use that kid he's dominating college ball right now, I watch him most games because I bet on him a lot. That kid is a monster and gets other bigs into foul trouble and he can hit his free throws. Obviously, in the NBA he's going to have to develop a 3-pt shot, but look at Brook Lopez, I think he can develop into that type of shooter, if he puts the work in. Zach Edey is exactly what this team needs as it takes us to the next level like Marc Gasol did on the championship team.
I hated my team yesterday. Now im back. Letsss gooo
Malachi flynn starting his tour to Europe ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐
This team looking extremely diff, a lot of young blood flowing. Sky is the limit
Yay!
Another one. Yes this is a good move for us. Jak backup is now solid.
I love the way this young roster is shaping out as that Agbaji move for me is a banger as people don't know how good that kid can be and with our development team the skies the limit. If we can somehow keep Gary Trent, Jr. we'll really be good because I like the way he's been playing since he became a starter. I would really like that kid Zach Edey too as he's a force in the middle. He's exactly what we need to complete our team. I heard some other options might be Hunter Dickinson who came from Kansas like Agbaji and Gradey. PJ Hall from Clemson is another option as well.
Boucher, RJ and kelly gonna have that canadian connection
You called it Chev. I remember a video you made from like a couple of weeks ago where you said we should get Olynk, and there ya go welcome home, Kelly.
#TORONTOFOREVER
hello chev im excited to watch kelly

๐๐๐๐๐๐โคโคโคโค… Chev was right again.๐๐๐๐ Dennis gone too. Hey Chev, Celtics sent Delano to Portland๐ฎ
You haven't been in my feed. Good to see you again Chev
Donโt sleep on Hansen Yang. 7โ1 18 year old leading the CBA in blocks. He reminds me a lot of Marc Gasol
In India watching chev the goat
We replace the character and vet leadership we lost with Thad in signing Olynyk.
Congrats raptors. I hate this deal, i hope Markkanen get playoffs with jazz and without Kelly they have zero hope finish top10. Season is over for jazz, another tanking year. Raptors made super good deal. Kelly is so underrated.
Premium jontay porter
finally two centers, i feel bad for koloko
It looks like one of the "3 magic beans" you lamented, as sprouted into something. Who knew? I guess draft picks do have some value. shrugs
Zach would be nice if we keep our top 6 protected
Raptors fans coping machine is a full year experience. Is Masai paying these podcasters defending his awful moves year around?
