    *”And you failed!”* ☠️

    The delivery is perfect

  2. NBAball05

I agree I guess some people have been so used to winning and our culture that when he isn’t showing any effort it stands out a lot

  3. AlexRescueDotCom

Now imagine that all those microphones are being held by regular size people fully extending their arms as high as they can. Makes it 10x funnier.

  4. IHavePoopedBefore

The league is full of 22 year olds behaving more maturely. I don’t think its unfair to call it out

  5. yes he’s 22 so he’s not allowed to be criticized. this is embarrassing

  6. Swayzee2017

Stop with the “he’s only 22” nonsense. It’s lack of effort, lack of maturity and lack of awareness in his overall game. He’s supposed to be your guy then he needs to damn well work for it instead of looking like a over the hill vet who just wants to wait at the 3pt line and shoots a couple shots a game.

  7. If you think you are mature, think about how you became that way. It’s probably because you had a moment of realization that something needed to change right? That can’t happen if everyone around you just brushes everything under the rug.

No one is asking for Scottie to get traded. Asking questions is the media’s job. I personally would have been upset if the media didn’t ask him these questions. Yeah, he’s 22 — but he’s forever going to stay this way unless he sees the behavior as something that he needs to change. Failure is a part of life, you have to make mistakes in order to learn. The first step is acknowledging they are mistakes 🤷🏾‍♂️

  8. It’s okay to criticize people for doing stupid shit. He admitted it was a bad look, whether it was an accident or not. We don’t need a thread calling for people to “leave him alone” every time the press ask him a normal question about his behaviour.

I agree people saying he’ll never be a leader or a #1 option because of a few immature moments are very stupid, but they are an extreme minority of weirdos on Twitter and Reddit trying to manufacture outrage. Stop giving them attention.

  9. KratosSmash

He doesn’t have the maturity or ability to be a #1 right now. Not saying it won’t come, but usually you see a lot more poise from franchise players at his age.

  10. idislikehate

    1. What else do you want him to ask them about that’s more noteworthy than him leaving the team and game early?
    2. Cool. He’s 22. He’s also been given the keys to the franchise and is expected to be a leader.
    3. Mistakes are fine. Give him the opportunity to own up to it and speak to who he is and why he’ll be better.

  11. kdottdot

Was Tatum doing this shit at 22? How about Jaylen? How old is Wemby again? Or any of the really good players drafted in the past few years….

How many of them have an attitude problem like this dude?

A few games ago he threw a passive aggressive tantrum by passing up every shot because he didn’t get the ball on one particular possession against OKC.

Then he whines and complains and takes plays off all the time.

He doesn’t finish defensive possessions when it involved him closing out – he has disrespectfully waved off players and left them wide open…and they hit the 3.

There’s been enough frequency of immature behavior that it warrants being called out. It’s not just that he left a game a few seconds early that he played like shit in against a rook who dominated us whilst eating candy.

It’s everything starting to compile into really shit habits that he needs to break if he wants to become great. All that holds him back is his attitude. The talent, court vision, feel for the game, the touch….even work ethic is all elite. The dude became a good 3pt shooter in one off-season.

  12. WobbleKun

a slap on the wrist is fine to wake him up. cuz it’s true it could always be worse. bruh can be out partying nightly, or have a handful of baby mommas, or waving his sidearm on IG. or just being fat lol

  13. HaratoBarato

I am around youth basketball a lot. I always tell them to go ahead and get blocked. Then you’ll learn and know next time if you have enough space. That’s how you learn.

  14. TheNewKing2022

Scottie is a big boy who has been in the spotlight his whole life. He can handle himself and the critics. If you are respectful feel free to critique

  15. Etobocoke

He’s played basketball for how long? You’re trying to tell me he didn’t know what he did was not okay? Everyone needs to be called out when they have acted inappropriately or they will repeat it. Scottie is young yes, but not too young not to know better.

  16. TruthSetUFree100

    Duhhh… I can’t read a digital clock.
    Me don’t know.

  17. Altruistic-Fig5892

It’s completely fair to be concerned about some of his attitude and effort issues in my opinion. Yes he’s young and can change. But I dunno. I think it’s also OK that some of us don’t think he’s the God of our future. I like him and think he can be a star…but I can also see a world where he just isn’t and we are never good with him as our best player. A lot of us have seen it all before with young players in this team.

  18. OG_anunoby3

Breaking news in summer, Scottie requests a trade.

  19. HumanDisaster77

This behaviour at only year #3 regardless who you are is worrisome. What’s the media supposed to do- not ask about it? Just forget it happened and treat scottie like a superstar when he aint even there yet?? People keep joking he’s gonna be the next Ben Simmons (which i don’t think he will), but like…. anything is possible if his attitude doesn’t improve. I think it’s fair game to ask him these questions, and also understand he’s only 22 and still learning/maturing. Both things can be true

  20. SingleSampleSize

Toronto fanbase is in full cope mode this week, I see.

  21. NoOffer5599

Scottie is a great Robin. We need to draft a Batman.

  22. NinfthWonder

This YouTuber is goofy. Let’s keep brushing poor behaviour under the rug. It will fix itself.

  23. FreestyleAmbush

Lowry was known to be pretty immature early in his career but turned it around. I believe the same thing will happen to Scottie.

  24. Panteadropper

i thought everyone was an adult at 18?

  25. Iamafrenchdoor

“raptors fans are crazy man” FR SOME OF YOU ANNOYING AS SHIT MAN, let our players grow holy fuck

  26. Nah you gotta cut that shit out from now, he’s gotta know we aren’t an organization that plays that shit. Ain’t no player bigger than the team. His attitude has been atrocious, literally quitting on every defensive play. Even when he’s in the play, defensively I can’t count how many blow bys he’s a victim of.. Mad concerning if we let that shit continue, glad someone’s asking him these questions cuz according to him, the coaches didn’t have a talk with him about it (which Darko had already admitted to before the question was asked).

  27. LastNightsHangover

He definitely can grow, we need to give him the grace to become a leader. I agree people are blowing this up too much.

But 22 is not a kid and stop saying that!!

Reminds me of the Ja debacle, not at all the same topic, just excusing behavior because they are “kids” … If you can vote, own a gun, drive, ect you’re not a kid.

Especially given he’s probably completed 20% of his professional career, assuming he’s amazing and doesn’t get a career ending injury early.
