Just got to get done what needs to be gotten done tonight. Then everyone can rest and reset for a week. But we can’t have a letdown right now, not at home, not against the Wizards- 11 games over .500 entering the break is huge.
I have a good feeling about the Pistons taking down the Suns tonight. KD and Booker can’t do anything with Cade, Ivey and whoever the hell pays for Detroit now.
We can win and create some space with the Suns. 10 games over .500 is nice but we have to get to 18 over .500 to be a 50 won team and second best record in franchise history.
We tend to play down to struggling teams. I’m hoping everyone shows up tonight
For as much criticism levied at Willie Green and at the team’s construction, we are having a great season. If we hadn’t lost those heart-breakers against Memphis, we would be close to the top 4.
Continued success. Win more than last year. No extended losing streaks. It’s a grind. We have a great team to support. That’s how to build a successful organization. Just look at Denver. It took some time for that team around Jokic to become champions. I’m excited for the second half of the season.
I get an unneccesary discomfort seeing Zion being listed as questionable. Hope he plays.
