Edit: Also I really don’t like that all of these stories about Grant have come out since the trade. He may not have produced in a way that the Mavs envisioned but he was always professional and seemed to be a good guy. It sucks to be traded away from a team you really wanted to be on and then have all of these negative stories following you out the door.

Just a regular reminder than McMahon doesn’t have serious sources in the org, is much more interested in drama and narratives than actual basketball (so not totally out of line with this sub), and sometimes it’s best when you can invent the drama yourself.
