So of course they will both wind up on The Knicks according to delusional fans on this sub. Haha.

If they had to choose it would be BI that stays. I see them just paying the tax and keeping both.

  2. KuntaWuKnicks

It’s been said for a while Zion has issues with conditioning.

Him and Thibs would need to see one of them change and it won’t be Thibs.

    Don’t see it happening

    Ingram would be nice

  3. dftba421

Don’t see either happening but it would be a huge mistake to get Zion. The guy who famously can’t stay in shape and has played less than half of his team’s games in Thibs’ system? Recipe for disaster

  4. ImAGoo-Man

I have nothing to contribute besides I love Brandon Ingram

  5. OhhhTAINTedCruuuuz

Have we not already learned that moving Zion to one of the greatest food cities in the world is not a recipe for winning basketball

  6. RacinInTheStreet

Whats the point of even being a pro team, when you finally get good, you trade away the talent

  7. SanjiSasuke

If half our roster is injured as it is, I think Zion would probably sprain both his knees and blow up both his shoes walking into the locker room.

  8. i-piss-excellence32

Ingram is the right choice for us

  9. Snapesunusedshampoo

0% chance they choose Zion over BI.

  10. beanie_mac

I don’t think either BI or Zion fits here.

  11. Diligent-Cookie-1695

That’s not a hard choice lol

  12. baylixir

I doubt the Knicks have serious interest in either one of these guys.

  13. High_Ground_Sand

It’s honestly a hard choice to make for New Orleans, BI is great but not quite a franchise cornerstone, which despite Zion’s problems, he does still have the potential to be

  14. lilleff512

Good players but I don’t really see the fit. Neither of them is playing guard or center. Neither of them is playing above Randle or OG. Neither of them is coming off the bench for us.

  15. papichino88

Both are great players but neither are a fit for the Knicks. A healthy Knicks team is really, really good, we just need to round out the edges, not change the formula.

Zion would be rolling around like Bobby Hill with gout in New York

  17. Toolmantaylor8

Just makes it kinda funny because one is thick and one is thin

  18. ShawshankException

Zion living in NYC would ensure the dude looks like Biggie by the end of the summer

  19. SillyBilly04

Y’all are so fucking corny with the Zion fat jokes. Ridiculously unfunny and old.

  20. WhoTookPlasticJesus

I don’t think it’s worth giving up assets for either, but the only decision that would make me angry would be Zion.

    Think they make a heavy push for Trae Young. ZION + CJ + 2027 bucks Pick + their 2025 Pick + their 2027 Pick for Trae and Capela. Hawks: PG-Murray, SG-CJ, SF-Jalen Johnson, PF-Zion, C-OO. Bench:Bufkin, Bogdonvic, Hunter AJ Griffin, their 2 picks in 2024 draft. Pelicans:Trae/Trey Murphy/BI/Herb Jones/Capela Bench:Jose Alverado/Hawkins/EJ Liddel/Dyson Daniels/Their 2 picks in 2024.

Since my brother moved to NOLA, the Pelicans have become my favorite team in the West, so I watch a lot of their games – they are an exciting and scrappy team, and Zion is playing MUCH better than he is getting credit for. That said, as much as I love both of these dudes and would love to see them in a Knicks jersey, the fit for either feels WAY off for the team we have now. (edit to add a space and make the comment readable)

Hypothetically, the only way I can see it working is if you move Mitch and move Randle for Zion in some capacity, because Zion needs room in the paint to cook. Could be interesting, as the Pelicans haven’t had a true point guard to pair with Zion in his time there, so seeing him and Brunson would be a fun experiment, and could be amazing. That said, why fix something that isnt broken?

  23. charlesfluidsmith

It’s super obvious it’s been obvious for a couple of years.

A smart team would have traded him early.

  24. N00BBuild

Zion would be great. The guy’s a very good scorer, look like he’s putting his personal problems behind him, and is a very efficient player with good stats.

Pelicans are doing good too, 33-22.

  25. Saucy_Totchie

I don’t think I’d want either. Zion’s issues are widely known so no need to get in depth with that. With BI, he’s incapable of being effective without the ball. The offense has to run through him. Seeing as the Knicks already have two guys in Brunson and Randle that they can trust to run the team.
