Detroit Pistons Release Killian Hayes

Kelly and Hayes really must have had no Market because they just released them according to James L Edwards III and Mr like damn I really think this is crazy this is crazy this is crazy nobody wanted him or did everyone just Hardball them and just tell them hey I mean they

Had a cut people because of the deals they made but I am a bit surprised that it this is how it played out I don’t know I just I just thought it was interesting to see that you seriously never know what’s going to happen like I would have never thought Kelly and A’s

Would have been just straight up cut I would I honestly thought someone would have given up a first round pick not oh my God no a second round pick at the very least but sometimes it just doesn’t happen that way and you just got to move forward and I think it’s definitely interesting

Because you see the Bucks trade for Pat be Patrick Beverly all right and they sent campaign at a second round pick I just I’m surprised that Kell didn’t have more value I just think maybe people just hard balled them that’s my only assumption that that’s why Kell a couldn’t get a better

Better deal but like it just goes to show that you don’t know what’s ever going to happen at the NBA deadline especially with every moment it seems like there could be another trade to they’ll just rock your world and I’m definitely interested to hear your guys’s opinions who could go

Out and get Kelly and Hayes I think definitely when we see the market I think there’s options out there I also know that like there’s no reason to overpay or for people to to freak out and think that like hey we you know I don’t even I think he’s going

To clear waivers cuz if they oh well if they pick him up on waivers that means they can then of course get his restricted free agency so maybe someone does keep him on waivers I I do think that that actually is a possibility the

More you you look at this but it goes to show that like anything can happen and with as we get closer to the deadline which is in like literally an hour I think the dust is starting to settle all right the dust is starting to settle but let’s agree I

Don’t think people imagined it to be this crazy and I’ll be one of those people that admit like I didn’t think we’d have such an action-packed deadline that was going to be one of the slower ones we’ve had in recent maram Maries but instead we’re it’s jam-packed and I think I’m

Enjoying it so far let me let me hear your guys thoughts I

Killian Hayes has been released by the Pistons, per a source. Reported earlier this week that he and the Pistons would likely part ways. End of an era for the first pick of Weaver’s tenure.

  1. I told ya so. He isn’t an nba talent and him asking for a trade killed any value he had. He is the worst plays in the nba and unless you watch the pistons, yiu probably wouldn’t realize it.

  2. Is he worse than Thenasis? I hope spurs take a flyer out on him, not bet the farm on him. Spurs can afford to throw ideas against the wall and see what sticks

  3. FINALLY!! What a relief! Long overdue. Give someone else a chance to miss most of their shots night after night after night after night after….. Picking Hayes is a very close second to the Darko Milicic pick.

  4. Hayes just wasn’t the PG the Pistons envisioned him developing into. 4 years in the NBA and he still hasn’t panned out. To his credit, he’s a decent defender and playmaker but that’s about all you’re gonna get from him. You can forget about him carrying any of the workload offensively in terms of shooting and scoring. That’s what ultimately did him in. Troy Weaver, the Pistons’ GM, confirmed this as the reason why Hayes was cut loose. I was one of the few who actually wanted him to pan out, but once he found himself out of the rotation due to guys like Cunningham, Ivey, and Sasser stepping up from the guard position, I had a feeling his days as a Piston were numbered.
